Brilliant location. Literally on the beach. Pool very nice too. Staff so friendly and rooms cleaned and very well maintained. Buzzing town outside with great options to eat. Mango smoothies for 60 baht on the corner!

Hotel is located directly by the sea in calm area, in the middle of Phuket attractions. 3 pools, jacuzzi, beach facilities, internal restaurant. Served food is tasty and good quality (all inclusive option) Helpful service, especially from polish speaking Daniel responsible for guest relations is a great advantage of this place. We really recommend this hotel.

We found Sunwing Bangtao beach to be a great location. As an affordable family base in Phuket, you can't go wrong here. The room we had was large enough for our family of three to be comfortable. We had pool access from our room. There are 4 different pools to choose from, depending on how you feel, and the beach is right there, too.
If you get a package with included breakfast you won't be disappointed. Each morning they have a local dish special as well as all the normal choices you'd expect.
There are 2 massage decks near the beach, so there is no excuse not to unwind.
It’s in the zone, where you are in the pick-up zone for most tours and activities.
All the staff are friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunning Hotel, and I highly recommend it—especially for families. Traveling with teens, having a spacious two-bedroom suite with two bathrooms made all the difference. It gave us plenty of room to relax and enjoy our time without feeling cramped.
The location is unbeatable, right on the beach, with plenty of loungers and shaded spots to unwind. The grounds are beautifully maintained, adding to the overall peaceful and inviting atmosphere.
Food-wise, the breakfast selection is fantastic, offering a wide variety to suit all tastes. The coffee, however, could use an upgrade, but that’s a minor detail in an otherwise excellent dining experience.

We visited as a family of four with two young children. Sunwing hotels are excellent for kids, this hotel is no exception. 5 pools of varying sizes and depths, slide, direct access to the beach, safe and clean. The staff are very polite.
The kids club is the same as everywhere. Perfect for Scandinavian families, but also great for English speakers. Many fun activities and a great way to take a break from the sun.
The rooms are big and smartly furnished. You can easily fit two older children on the sofa (no spare bed required). The rooms are equipped with a refrigerator (bigger than the usual minibar), a water kettle, and a microwave; making it easy to prepare kids food or small snacks in your room.
We had an issue with our room which was technically not the hotels fault, but they switched us to another room straight away taking our concerns very seriously but with a positive attitude.
We really enjoyed our stay!

The resort is well kept and clean. Positioned right at the beach. The rooms are spacious and nice apart from the bathroom's general quality which is somewhat lacking in every aspect.
In general the resort is worth recommending but we have had a very unpleasant situation with a rude front desk staff - Tiffany, who spoiled our stay at the very beginng.
For us it was the first and the last time with Sunwing.

We came for our wedding in March 2025 and had the most amazing experience ever! Amm and her team were absolutely incredible and made sure everything was perfect! She truely went above and beyond to make sure our day was everything we wanted and we will never forget her commitment. The food was also incredible as well as the amazing buffet breakfasts! All the staff were absolutely amazing and the rooms were stunning very luxurious! Highly highly recommend The Pavilion and we will definitely be coming back!

We came here in September of 2023 for our honeymoon and stayed at the ocean view pool villa. It was incredible! The service was exceptional and we loved every aspect of our stay. The resort helped us pick out excursions for the days we wanted to get out and explore. They arranged EVERYTHING. We just chose the excursion and they arranged for our ride to pick us up etc. We just paid for everything at the end of our stay. The room service was amazing and we always had a ton of food. The service in general was incredible. Each staff member went above and beyond to make you feel welcomed, we honestly felt like they were family by the time we left.
Would definitely recommend this resort! We have decided we will be back every 5 years.
My husband and I talk often about how we can’t wait to get back here.

Everything was nice until checkout, where we paid around 1,100 THB for some stuff we used in the villa.
A bath bomb which was put inside the bath, the illusion was that it was complimentary since it was put right there in the tub. The ataff didn’t mention whether it was free or chargeable.
A tea from the minibar, although the assistant manager said that tea and coffee are complimentary, he didn’t mention it was for specific types of tea, and that some teas are chargeable.
Overall the staff wasn’t clear enough about what’s complimentary and what’s chargeable

Easily THE fanciest and nicest hotel I have ever been to. Secluded, elegant, great food and expansive buffet and in the mountains, with immediate service of little golf carts to transport you. The lobby is almost a small museum and the views are absolutely stunning. You can even buy the room diffuser! The rooms are GIGANTIC and the service is deeply committed to the satisfaction of the guests. I cannot say enough good things.

We really enjoyed the absolute privacy of our villa with it own private pool. The staff is very good, welcoming and attentive. We especially enjoyed our hostess at the Firefly restaurant. Her name is Meow and she is the cat’s meow when it comes to her attentiveness and good nature.

Recently stayed at this property for a week , From the moment we arrived at this stunning resort, we knew we were in for a treat. The location is absolutely breathtaking, with crystal-clear turquoise waters and soft white sands just steps away from our room. The resort itself is beautifully designed, blending traditional Thai architecture with modern luxury.
The staff here are incredibly friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable.
Our room was spacious, clean, and had a private balcony.

I stayed at the hotel almost a year ago. I was blown away by the ambience and the hospitality of the staff especially the front desk. I remember looking for a trashcan and she came to me and offered to throw it away, that was really surprising. the food was also very delicious at the buffet. The pool was crystal clear and so clean. Definitely worth staying in.

Exceptional hospitality with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The facilities provided to all hotel guests were outstanding and truly enhanced our stay. Staff in all departments were outstanding. Although the breakfast area was a bit congested in the morning, the staff did their best to accommodate every request. Room service staff and bellboys were very helpful, and the surrounding area had a positive vibe. However, the entrance to the Laguna area could be improved, and the access road to the hotel is quite narrow and often busy during peak times

The beach is so beautiful… you could spend the whole day at the hotel.
The rooms were very comfortable and had all the amenities. The only problem was that our room sometimes smelled like sewage from the bathroom.
They have transportation to move around the hotel, and also to get to the shops outside the hotel as well as the NIGHT MARKET inside LAGUNA.

Great location, super staff, clean rooms, lovely food, access to really nice beach, great cocktails from the beach shacks, and good choice of beach bars. Easy walk with flip flops along the beach north or south to the beach bars with live music in the evenings.
The hotel would be better if they had a separate adults only pool as there were too many kids, balls and inflatables! The pool was lovely and quiet until 10am but busy after that and did not offer a relaxing vibe.
Shade was welcome but think the whole ambience would improve if the trees were thinned out.
Reception staff exceptional and massage team in hotel garden were amazing and we had a massage treatment with them every day!
Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We enjoyed our five days in this beautiful and welcoming resort very much. The Dusit Laguna resort beachfront has a direct access to the outstanding white sanded beach. The beach is very clean and well maintained. The sea water was clean and is deep enough and therefore the ultimate choice for the advance swimmers. There is a large pool with a separate area are for the kids. The resort offers a choice of different restaurants, shops and facilities. Our rating therefore 👉🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 😊👍

Would definitely recommend the lounge bar, the Italian restaurant and the pool bar.
The only issue we encountered during the week we were there was the poor selection of food and low levels of some items at breakfast. Also the service levels in the main restaurant were pretty poor which let things down. But all that said, we'd still recommend this hotel.

I really enjoyed the beautiful, wide beach—it was a highlight of my stay! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, especially in the restaurants. A special thanks to Waraporn who provided exceptional service.
Unfortunately, the reception staff and the GM seemed very focused on older guests, which made us, as a younger couple, feel a bit ignored. This was a downside to an otherwise great stay.
Dining on the sand at the beach restaurant was a fantastic experience as well as the great thai restaurant! The breakfast was also very good, with a great variety of options and fresh ingredients.
The rooms were spacious and clean, and I really enjoyed the beautiful sea view. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the rooms clean and well-maintained. The hotel itself is also very spacious, with plenty of lush greenery, plants, and trees, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. I truly appreciated this aspect of the stay.
The gym was decent, offering the basics for a workout.
Overall, a beautiful beachfront location with great dining experiences and wonderful service.

I had an amazing stay at the hotel! The location is perfect, right on a wide, beautiful beach, and the garden area is a lovely place to relax. The service throughout was excellent, but a special mention goes to Waraporn, who made us feel truly welcome and took care of everything we needed. The overall atmosphere and friendly staff made it a memorable and relaxing experience. Highly recommended!
