We had a good stay at JC Kevin Hotel in Bangkok. The rooms were clean, and we stayed in their suite, which was exceptionally nice and comfortable.
However, the hotel’s location is a drawback, as it is quite far from the main attractions in the city. Another major issue for Indian travelers or vegetarians is the lack of vegetarian or Indian food options. While the chef did make an effort to prepare vegetarian fried rice for us, the overall menu does not cater to vegetarian preferences.
While the property itself is good, I would rate it as average for Indian travelers due to the limited food options. If vegetarian food isn’t a priority, it’s a decent place to stay.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel did not meet expectations, and I believe it does not deserve a 5-star rating, but rather a maximum of 3 stars. I booked a one-bedroom suite, but I was shocked by the poor cleanliness. I even found insects in my suite, which was completely unacceptable and far below any reasonable standard of hygiene.
The furniture in the room was old and worn out, and the room decor was outdated. Even the design of the hallways felt very old and unmaintained. Upon arrival, the hotel’s lobby looked impressive and gave the impression of a high-class establishment, but the shock came as soon as I entered the room—it was a completely different story, with its outdated design and lack of modernity.
For the first time in my life, I stayed in a suite that did not have a coffee machine! How can a hotel claiming to be 5 stars lack such a basic amenity in its suites?
On top of all this, upon arrival, the hotel required a deposit of 4,000 Baht as a guarantee, which was not clearly communicated beforehand and felt excessive.
The experience fell far below the expected standard, and I will not be staying here again in the future.

No committment to maintaining standards claimed - NOT even 3 star rooms. We stayed 8 days on a non-refundable. It took 3 days of complaints to get glassware replaced and rubbish bin emptied in the room. The pool area seating areas (either end of pool) were too dirty to occupy for 6 of 8 days. There was no attempt to respond to complaints. Do NOT stay here on a non-refundable basis. Oh and our exorbitant damage deposit won't be returned for at least 4 weeks. If there are so many 'positive' reviews - let this be your reality check. Thailand has NO standard ratings for hotels and many reviews are fake. NOT this one.
