This hotel is lovely. We experience the executive suite which was incredible. Pool area was large with a great Mexican restaurant next to it. Fresh towels and plenty of places to sit and relax. Great variety at breakfast and lots of fresh options. Lovely service at the bar and great cocktails. Service in the bar was lovely and Benz looked after us well in the Lobby bar. Would definitely recommend and return one day

I recently stayed at rembrandt, and I cannot speak highly enough about the staff’s especially “ ICE “exceptional hospitality. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine kindness. The front desk team went above and beyond to ensure my check-in was smooth and provided me with helpful recommendations for local attractions. again i would like to thank ICE very much Throughout my stay, every staff member I encountered was attentive and eager to assist, making me feel truly valued as a guest. Their welcoming attitude and willingness to cater to my needs made my experience not just comfortable but memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a delightful stay!

We had previously stayed at this property approximately 6 years earlier. Since that time standards seems to have dropped. We were visiting Thailand for my wife’s birthday I had arranged for a surprise birthday cake to be in our room on arrival. When we checked in at reception the young lady took our passports confirmed our details, only to then in front of my wife ask if I had arranged a surprise cake!
We paid extra for one of the updated rooms, which was clean and modern. We unpacked our bags and set off to explore the city. On our return the room was very warm, the air conditioning was broken. The hotel sent up two engineers who confirmed this. So we had to pack up and more room. The new room was fine except we had a bath tub with a shower, every time you used the shower it would over flow and the bathroom floor would be soaking wet. Clearly this was an issue that house keeping was aware of as they would build a ring of towels around the tub to try to prevent this from happening.
Where things really have changed is breakfast, very limited options compared to our previous visit. The worst part is just the sheer volume of guests in a clearly inadequate sized dining area. It really is like feeding time at the zoo.
When on a city break you need a hotel to provide a few basic things. A clean tidy room with functional facilities like air conditioning and a decent shower. Of course a decent breakfast where you don’t need to use your elbows to get a table or a slice of toast.
The location is still fantastic and the staff are all very friendly. But a lot of improvement to really be considered a 4.5 star hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. While the hotel itself was fantastic, what truly made my stay exceptional was the outstanding service provided by the front desk staff, especially Ann.
From the moment I arrived, Ann greeted me with a warm smile and a genuine willingness to assist. She went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. Whether it was providing helpful recommendations for local attractions, swiftly addressing any questions I had, or simply making me feel welcome, Ann’s professionalism and kindness truly stood out.
During my stay, I happened to stumble upon a street-side restaurant in the same alley as the hotel and tried their Morning Glory dish. It was absolutely delicious and a delightful surprise! If you’re staying in the area, I highly recommend giving it a try.
I highly recommend the Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The facilities are excellent, the location is convenient, make it a place I would gladly return to. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This review does not reflect on the staff outside of reception. Porters were exceptionally polite and pleasant.
Stayed twice during our layover in Bangkok for different flights.
Our first stay the room smelt strongly of smoke, we were told this was just the carpet smell and were denied a room change. I accepted this, the hotel is obviously aging and needs a new carpet.
Our second stay however, I arrived unwell.
We were told on check in that our booking didn't exist and then spent 30minutes at the check-in desk as the staff sorted this.
The staff were all polite and dealt with the situation well. They didn't say if it was their fault or our booking provider.
We got to our rooms, 2 of 3 couples had downgraded, from a superior to a double.
On top of this one of the rooms (mine and my partner) was directly next to a room being worked on. Loud banging and sawing came from the room until 7:15pm at night!
There was a notice within the room saying renovations would be ongoing until 5pm, this clearly wasn't the case.
Considering we were shattered from the travel this kept us from sleeping.
We spoke to reception and they offered a room change and to stop the noise. But at this point it was too late.
The noise then stopped as said at 7:15pm.
We asked for a partial refund for the downgrade of room and issues encountered but this was denied.
Please see the images.
And be aware of the works going on at this hotel over this year. Appalling experience provided to us.
