It is a delightful resort. The ocean view, pool and service was spectacular. I also enjoyed very much my breakfast and dinner. I just missed the sunset but by all accounts must be amazing. It has the West Indian vibe with all the modern amenities and without the crowds. Highly recommended.

We honeymooned at Calabash Cove for the first five nights of our trip. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but there were some shortcomings. Below is a summary of the positives and negatives we encountered. While we would return, we now have a clearer understanding of what to expect. The Good: Friendly Staff: The staff was welcoming and accommodating, even though we made minimal requests. Beautiful Grounds: The resort's grounds were stunning and peaceful, offering a tranquil atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. The views of the bay were particularly lovely. Private Pool: We thoroughly enjoyed our private pool at our cottage, which added a special touch to our stay. The main pool was also impressive—large and inviting. The Bad: Food Quality: Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations, aside from breakfast. Although the dinner setting was beautiful, the meals fell short; the fish was overcooked and dry, while the steak was mediocre. We found the pasta dishes to be small and lacking flavor. Interestingly, our favorite dish was the fried goat cheese, which we ordered multiple times. Breakfasts were generally tasty, but room service often delivered cold eggs and undercooked bacon. Room Issues: Our cottage (#9) had several maintenance issues upon arrival. The air conditioning struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature; one outlet was inoperative (requiring maintenance), and accessing outlets behind the bed was challenging without moving the entire bed. Additionally, the ceiling fan did not work, and there was limited lighting in the bathroom. We also felt that the jacuzzi tub took up unnecessary space in the room. Communication Problems: Before our arrival, we inquired about taxi service from the airport but did not confirm it since we found a cheaper local option with great reviews. Despite this, the resort staff mistakenly believed I had confirmed transportation with them, sent a driver to the airport and charged us $100 for a taxi we never took. After some discussion at checkout, they removed this charge; however, it felt like an unnecessary hassle for a resort claiming five-star status. In summary, Calabash Cove is a charming resort located in a stunning setting, featuring decent accommodations and an impressive pool. We were grateful that this was just the beginning of our honeymoon rather than the end. For an unforgettable culinary experience, we highly recommend visiting The Naked Fisherman below Cap Maison for lunch or dinner; it offered some of the best food we enjoyed during our trip. After our stay at Calabash Cove, we ventured to the mountainous region of Soufriere, where we were amazed by the striking contrasts in scenery and accommodations.

Excellent service and excellent hospitality and excellent location! The drinks here are amazing, e joyed every cocktails I had. Staffs here leaves no stones unturned to make you feel at home. They genuinely make you feel like you are at your home. Gros islet, pigeon island, rain forest adventure, friday night street party and Rodney bay are at driving distance from the resort. So you will never regret staying at this resort. I will chose calabash cove again if I visit St Lucia in future. Beach here is clean, water activities are also available from the morning 🌄. Absolutely a wonder in saint lucia!! 💯 ❣️

We visited calabash cove for the second half of our holiday and it did not let us down. The staff were absolutely amazing at there job, professional, friendly and made us feel so at home. The rooms were cleaned daily, the food at the restaurant was amazing, although if not on the all inclusive it does get quite pricey. The cocktails are so amazing. So many different options and were given the opportunity to try new ones as their menu was changing... Bonus! The view from our room was truly magnificent, the pool was clean and in the best spot overlooking the ocean. On our last night, my partner had arranged a evening meal on the beach where he actually proposed! This was the most magical thing and I am so happy it happened at Calabash cove. The staff member Sandy who served us that evening was so amazing. Thank you so much 😊 This place will always have a special place in my heart and I am really looking forward to returning in the near future. Thank you to all the staff for making a wonderful and memorable experience for us! ❤️

We stayed here 4 nights for half of our honeymoon and were so sad we didn’t stay longer. The drinks and food were SO good (which I did not expect at an all-inclusive), the rooms were beautiful and well-appointed, the beach and pool were warm, lovely and relaxing, and the staff was so kind. We often felt like we were some of the only ones staying at the resort, they did such a good job keeping it small and private. We stayed in a cottage which had a/c in the bedroom, which was very much needed. They had kayaks and paddle boards left out for you to use, and we had so much fun with them. Just an excellent stay all around. A word to the wise: when we visited in July the mosquitos were really bad here. While we were gifted a bottle of citronella-based repellant, it wasn’t effective and we were eaten alive :( Picardin/deet-based repellant was really hard to find in the surrounding area, so I would advise bringing your own from home.
