Beautiful location, private beach, and accommodations. Friendly (albeit a little slow, but hey we’re on island time) staff. Martini Mix bar was my favorite! Nightly shows were excellent and very fun.
The food was AMAZING- healthy but delicious options, great restaurants with yummy meals, and welcoming service.
The spa was awesome, very relaxing and great services.
We did one excursion with the local tour group on a boat ride which was a lot of fun and got to see a lot.
Any concerns we had, management dealt with appropriately. The only big issue was the car ride from one of the airports to the resort which had a lot of winding roads so take some motion sickness medication if you need! Overall, had a lovely vacation and think fondly of this trip and resort.

I don't know what's with the negative reviews about this place. It was absolutely awesome and would definitely recommend it to friends and family. Only encountered one employee that didn't want to be here on the first night so we avoided that bar.
Every other pool and bar we went to had great service. This was true even with a couple bartenders that were obviously training but they spread them out and the experienced bartenders helped them.
Everyone else was amazing. Housekeeping was great. One day we didn't have any towels and I found her and she apologized as she had run out when she did our room but planned on looping back. Whether it was one of the restaurants or the buffet, everyone was great and food always arrived quickly.
Speaking of the food, loved it all. Buffet, food truck, or restaurants, no issues with any of them.
Miguel our butler was awesome and we had no issues getting some advice on travelling to Pigeon Island or the Piton Peaks.

So I am a travel agent. And although my clients did not want to post a review, I felt compelled to do so. Their most recent stay at the Royalton St. Lucia was not the best.
Starting with the positives, they did say the staff overall were good, and the butler service was great! They also told me that the vibes team (resort activities team) were on point as well.
Now to the not so good. From what they stated, the resort is average at best, & is in need of maintenance from the Diamond Club room, to the swim up pool area, etc. The kids water area also needs maintenance and there was caution tape on the water play slide section and some parts not working at all. In addition, the phone in their room was missing a receiver. How?? When they complained, they were told to use the speakerphone feature. Which was absolutely ridiculous. Those were just a few of the many issues during their stay.
When they brought their complaints to the Resident Manager Jose, who refused to give his last name, his responses as a resort representative were disappointing. Sean Griffith (rooms manager) said he would be investigating their issues/concerns, however they never got a response from him via email. The handling of my clients' concerns on the resort were not dealt with in a timely manner as some issues were never addressed prior to their departure.
When reviewing the pictures on the website, and reading some reviews, I thought my clients, who expect the best when paying for the best, would love the resort and would be treated well given that they usually book one of the nicest rooms when they travel and usually ask for the butler service. The website however, paints a different picture than what they experienced. As an agent it was so disappointing to hear all of the issues. My clients usually have little to no issues when they travel. This was their second try at a Royalton resort, & the other didn't go well either. So unfortunately, they've asked me not to book them at any other Royalton properties.

We enjoyed our trip as we were diamond club guests. We had two butlers. Rooms were kept clean. There was not a mini bar in the room but one bottle of champagne and one bottle of wine. You had to walk a distance to the main dining area. Restaurant reservations were easily made. We enjoyed the swim up pool. Resort was quiet and not rowdy.

I would like to inform potential guests that this resort, while visually appealing, exhibits signs of wear and tear and could benefit from maintenance. The room we stayed in retained a musty odor and was not adequately stocked with towels, soaps, or mini fridge supplies every day. The elevator malfunctioned during our stay, forcing us to use the stairs for three days. Even after repairs were made, we continued to utilize the stairs as the elevator's functionality remained questionable. The quality of service and employee attitudes varied greatly throughout our stay. The Hideaway Pool bar staff were particularly accommodating, especially Brandon. On the other hand, the Hideaway beach bar staff displayed consistently negative attitudes. The food truck lady chef, despite her unpleasant demeanor, prepared exceptional meals. In contrast, all the restaurant staff were pleasant and attentive, especially Kaylin at the buffet. She's doing really great for only being employed for one month. The cuisine at every dining establishment, including the buffet, was exceptional, representing the finest we have experienced at an all-inclusive resort. The atmosphere of the resort is intimate, romantic, and conducive to pool parties. There are plenty of bars all around this resort. Additionally, the sunsets are breathtaking.
