If you can book this for 2 people at less than $500 a night it MAY be worth it but a penny more and it’s not. Either way expect terrible service.
The grounds are beautiful and we stayed in the most expensive room the resort has. That said the service everywhere was exceptionally poor. To the point that other guests would bring it up when we casually would meet around the grounds. The “butler service” did nothing more than confirm things that we already booked. Room service wouldn’t replace or leave new towels (by day 3 we had none). None of our in room appliances worked. 99% of the hotel workers did not smile or greet you even when you were standing in front of them. The food everywhere was awful (even for an all inclusive). I could go on but it you’re looking for a cheap getaway (and can get a really cheap room) to a pretty place with low expectations on service this is your spot. If you’re looking to spend anymore than $500/night choose somewhere else

I almost did not leave a review, but I felt compelled to leave a review for this resort. We stayed here for 6 days, and it was an absolute amazing experience. The food is absolutely delicious , the service was outstanding, and our butler Raymond was an absolutely pleasure. This was hands down one of the best vacations I have ever taken. I would definitely return.

The Royalton St Lucia is a nice resort if you enjoy all-inclusive setups. The location is a bit removed from main areas, but if you plan to leave the property only for major excursions or attractions, this isn’t a problem. The resort itself has some great features, like a fantastic gym with all the equipment you could want and a relaxing spa experience (extra fee) that was a real highlight of my stay.
That said, my overall experience was disappointing. While the rooms look nice at first glance, they show significant wear and tear—wardrobes falling apart, taps not running properly, and sofas and other furnishings riddled with stains. The resort offers a selection of restaurants, but the food in all of them was quite average at best.
The real issue, however, was the customer service. Many of the front desk staff had a poor understanding of basic service standards. While some of the service staff at the beach and restaurants were friendly and went above and beyond, the majority seemed uninterested in being helpful. Simple requests took forever. For example, I ordered room service one night, and it took two hours to arrive. By the time it came, I had already tried to cancel it via the app and had put the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, yet the server banged on the door late at night and was visibly angry when I told him it was too late.
One incident really stuck with me. I witnessed an older gentleman at the front desk, visibly upset because he had been waiting six hours for water he needed to take his cancer medication. When he came to the desk to ask for it, he was made to wait another hour. While his frustration led him to shout, which wasn’t ideal, the lead front desk staff member responded dismissively, saying, “I’m not a wizard, so you have to wait!” It was shocking and unprofessional.
These kinds of delays and dismissive attitudes were a recurring theme during my stay. It’s unfortunate because the resort has potential, but the lack of consistent service and the subpar condition of the rooms really detract from the experience.
I hope the management takes these issues seriously because with some improvements, this could be a much better experience for future guests.

Beautiful location, private beach, and accommodations. Friendly (albeit a little slow, but hey we’re on island time) staff. Martini Mix bar was my favorite! Nightly shows were excellent and very fun.
The food was AMAZING- healthy but delicious options, great restaurants with yummy meals, and welcoming service.
The spa was awesome, very relaxing and great services.
We did one excursion with the local tour group on a boat ride which was a lot of fun and got to see a lot.
Any concerns we had, management dealt with appropriately. The only big issue was the car ride from one of the airports to the resort which had a lot of winding roads so take some motion sickness medication if you need! Overall, had a lovely vacation and think fondly of this trip and resort.

I don't know what's with the negative reviews about this place. It was absolutely awesome and would definitely recommend it to friends and family. Only encountered one employee that didn't want to be here on the first night so we avoided that bar.
Every other pool and bar we went to had great service. This was true even with a couple bartenders that were obviously training but they spread them out and the experienced bartenders helped them.
Everyone else was amazing. Housekeeping was great. One day we didn't have any towels and I found her and she apologized as she had run out when she did our room but planned on looping back. Whether it was one of the restaurants or the buffet, everyone was great and food always arrived quickly.
Speaking of the food, loved it all. Buffet, food truck, or restaurants, no issues with any of them.
Miguel our butler was awesome and we had no issues getting some advice on travelling to Pigeon Island or the Piton Peaks.
