I don’t get all the negative reviews I saw before coming here. I can certainly be picky as a traveler, so I was a little worried about some of the concerns others brought up. However, I’ve been very happy with this resort! The spot is beautiful, the grounds are clean and well taken care of, and the food has been pretty good.
It is definitely not the newest hotel on the island, but the rooms do not at all feel old and musty. Compared to some all inclusive resorts I’ve visited, it’s great how uncrowded this place is - we haven’t had any trouble doing anything we want. Overall, it’s been a wonderful time in paradise.

The beach is beautiful. The spa was great, meaning the people working there are great, (I had 2 massages and loved both the ladies that did them), but the looks of the spa are average and the wet sauna was broke while I was there. The food is okay. It was almost impossible to make a reservation at any of the restaurants. We finally got one(for Italian) and it was 1/2 empty but still took 1.5 hours for the food to be served (it was pasta so that was weird) and it tasted the same as the food on the buffet. The Buffet is average - nothing special. It would be so nice if they offered more local dishes, you can get pizza, pasta and sushi anywhere - it would have been amazing to have more Creole dish options (they did offer bread fruit, saltfish, bakes & pumpkin- all yummy) but local is always better. Now - the rooms. They are OLD and need of repair & updating - so nothing special.

Royalton was a great choice for our visit to St. Lucia. The resort is beautiful, and the location is great. It is about a 1.5 - 2 hour drive from the international airport, and this drive can be pretty rough.
Overall, the staff is very kind and genuinely appear to enjoy working at the resort. The food was great as well.
I would definitely recommend staying here!

We booked our honeymoon here before reading the reviews and when I finally saw them I was terrified to say the least. When I saw we were pleasantly surprised that is an understatement! The resort was absolutely beautiful, the room was clean and a great size. The staff was nothing but friendly to us. The only downside was the food definitely left something to be desired do not go in expecting any 5, 4 or even 3 star meals but it was fine as we had incredible meals outside of the resort. The drive to and from the airport is also tedious but that’s no one’s fault it’s just how the island is. Don’t let the negative reviews deter you we had the most incredible honeymoon at Royalton!

We have been blessed to travel to many places and liked our first Royalton experience. The staff was friendly and food was good. Drinks could be stronger but we're made quickly and bartenders were super friendly. The crowd was mostly patrons from The US, Canada and Europe. If your a simple traveler and aren't worried about the small things and go with the flow you will have a great time. The layout and atmosphere is great so we will return.
