This place is the definition of luxury. It feels like a little private village, just for you. The room was exceptional with a private pool and steam room shower. The service was attentive and personal, the food and drink top quality as you'd expect. Fully air conditioned gym as well which was a nice bonus. Even though the hotel was full it always felt quiet owing to everything being spaced out and most rooms/lodges having a private or semi private pool. Felt like a celebrity.

One of the best places I've stayed at. Serene ocean views and luxurious rooms and amenities makes the stay very delightful. Food is on the ale carte menu, which is meticulously prepared. The staff is super friendly. Will surely recommend to anyone and plan to come back.

This place is an ABSOLUTE YES in my book. Beautiful property, Beautiful scenery, Fantastic Service (courtesy of Mahendra, who was exceptional and was on call to ensure our time at Cape weligama is nothing short of fantastic. Honorable mentions to resort manager Chamara - I think that's his name - who was also fantastic.)
The food was EXCEPTIONAL and of the highest quality, the local cuisine items are among the best I have ever eaten. The chef also came out and spoke to us and was extremely accommodating of our dietary restrictions.
The people at the resort go out of their way to make sure the customer is happy and is truly one of the best resort I have had the pleasure of experiencing.
It's worth every single rupee (and i would go as far as saying the price tag is actually quite cheap considering all that you are getting and the quality of it)

Absolutely incredible. One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Wonderful service, rooms, food and general atmosphere. Would reccomend to anybody, including families with small children.

Exceptional. Superb. Phenomenal. Cape Weligama is a hotel and experience like no other. We were lucky enough to stay here for 8 nights at the end of our honeymoon. Every day we were blown away by the service and staff who truly go above and beyond to make your stay one to remember. No ask is too much trouble, the people make this place so special.
We also ate some of the best food in Sri Lanka here, locally sourced and prepared to perfection. We found every night to be a different experience but each one as impressive as the last. The chefs table experience was truly one to remember too.
The grounds and views are spectacular from every angle, a true relaxing oasis.
Cape Weligama will stay with us for a long time and we only hope we can return back one day soon. Thank you again team Cape Weligama! Laura & Ben
