Stayed there in 2022, great hotel, lovely garden, great breakfast. 3 nice pools. All the bushes in the garden are cut in the shape of animals. Excellent service. The standard family room we stayed in was a little dated, but nice beds and view over the pool. The only thing that annoyed me during the stay was that they accepted that people occupied sunbeds at the pool before breakfast and did not use them for 4-5 hours. Hotel has great location on the beach and the city center 2 minutes walk away.

We needed a few days' getaway from Bangkok, and we've chosen Centara. It's a beautiful hotel. Loved everything about it! The service was amazing. Everyone here was super friendly, making sure our stay was very special. The garden and hotel surroundings make you feel very relaxed. The breakfast is fantastic, with plenty to choose from (you have to try mini cinnamon rolls - so delicious!) and food and cocktails options at hotel restaurants are great as well, so you can stay at the hotel all the time! However, I'd recommend a trip to Sam Roi Yot National Park, which is nearby and is worth visiting.

Great hotel overall. It’s big, huge gardens and 3 decent size pools.
Rooms are a bit dated and small.
Location is good as it’s quiet and not too far from markets and restaurants.
The beach isn’t that great but it’s expected as it’s Hua Hin.

Our family stayed in two single room villas for 4 nights - our only regret was not staying twice as long. The hotel is simply magical. People describe the old school charm and history of the place, but don’t let that frighten you off. The vast grounds and the incredible, friendly and attentive staff are reminders that sometimes the old ways are the best. The villas were spacious and beautifully designed, looking wonderful, and having your own private pool is great at the end of long days exploring the area around Hua Hin.
Can’t wait to come back.

I am travelling the world for more than 45 ears now, mostly for business but in recent years luckily more for pleasure. When we discovered Thailand a couple of years back, I heard of Hua Hin, so we planned on going there. My wife insisted on choosing the hotels and found the Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin. And boy, am I glad she found this marvellous hotel. Absolutely amazing, in every aspect. The resort itself with all its plants, flowers, fountains, the landscaping is amazing. The architecture is traditional and the whole resort is extremely well maintained. Most amazing are the people there. The whole staff, from management to housekeeping is absolutely amazing! They are always friendly, helpful, open, accommodate every (sometimes stupid) request from (equally stupid) guests.
The hotel has several restaurants and all deserve Michelin stars. The breakfast is a huge selection of everything, Thai specialties, Chinese food, English breakfast, pastries, all kinds of bread, ham, cheeses, and a large variation of fresh fruit, including Mango and Passion fruit. You can sit outside while dining or in the air-conditioned restaurant.
We had a villa with our own pool and it was probably the greatest hotel experience EVER.
The hotel is directly at the beach, a long white sandy beach. And it is also perfectly located in Hua Hin, close to several markets and malls.
I would never stay in any other hotel when in Hua Hin.
