This Phuket hotel is a short drive away from the shopping and nightlife of Patong, and there's a free shuttle bus provided for easy access. Guests can also use the facilities at the Centara Grand Beach Resort, which is located close by on the beach.

We spent our honeymoon here in November. Staff were so incredibly kind and helpful. Beautiful place if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful location. We didn't want a huge resort. It's only a quick trip down to Karon beach. The pools and the views were just breathtaking. It was very hard to leave! Our thanks to the incredible staff for the warm welcome and service.

The worst stay I’ve ever had. The villas are on the hill, so either you wait for a while each time for the local tuk tuk to take you to your villa, or you walk up and down lots of stairs under the sun. Our room hasn’t been cleaned even once during our stay - they came every time when we were in, so we’ve asked them to come later (and they never did). Every time we were hanging the “please clean my room sign”, but nobody came while we were out.
And the worst of all - the breakfast. You expect a decent breakfast for such a price, but you get a really poor choice, a couple of asian spicy meals - and nothing western (except from bacon and baked beans of course). Guess what? The coffee is made in a machine which mix you a 3 in 1 terrible coffee. We can’t even call this coffee to be honest. It’s a 1 star breakfast, a real shame for such a brand like Centara. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
We had a car and we were able to drive everywhere, but if you don’t have one - you need to go down the stairs (again) 10-15 minutes to reach the beach (which doesn’t have sunbeds and umbrellas of course, since it’s a public one).
Only 2 nice things: the view and the birds singing around. This is it

We arrived at around mid day and had a little walk around first, the resort is built around a steep hill so it is good for some cardio exercise or you can call the car and they will drive you around no problem. Initially we were not happy with the room but the staff were very helpful and upgraded us to a better one, less noisy and better view. The breakfast was nice, continental and thai options. Anything you need the staff is happy to help, all you have to do is ask. Pleasant stay overall.

Some of the food is unfortunately very tasteless. The hotel also discriminates between customers. While some customers can use the hotel's transportation facilities, others are told "we are not available". Unfortunately, we can't stand the third night of our four-night reservation and check out. We wanted to make an appointment for a massage, but they told us there was no room for us when there was room for European customers. They even asked for money for the water we drank when we checked out. It was a very, very bad experience. I would never recommend this place.

Currently staying at this resort, it's not worthy of any stars. It's very steep, and accomodation is so run down and dirty. We found cockroaches in one of our rooms. Broken panelling. Used flip flops
No staff at pool bar. Restaurant is over priced and charges service charge and vat. Breakfast is average and Luke warm at best. The cleaning is of low standard and we have had personal items taken. The steps down to the beach are broken and overgrown in places. No garden or swing as per their website and on site map. The taxi at the resort put on to take you to your room ( which you have to use, unless you are super fit) is a struggle to get in and out of. They have no consideration for people with mobility problems. One of our party needs assistance and we were allocated our villa (beach hut) quite far up. None of our villas were allocated prior to arrival and we were placed in separate parts of the resort. The only good thing I can say about this resort is the view and majority of the staff are polite and friendly.
Overall our experience with this resort has been extremely negative.
This was supposed to be an amazing holiday, but unfortunately it has not been what any of us expected.
I would avoid this resort there are so many other beautiful hotels in Phuket
