Great place to stay nice and quiet. Friendly staff big smiles 😃 On a hillside great work out on the steps, if your not up to that just ring reception and ask for the mini van to come and pick you up. Two pools with a bar and a spa for the extra bit of pampering you need after a day relaxing by the pool or on the beach

Not what we expected from a 4 star hotel, this is the last hotel on our visit around Thailand and we have had fantastic hotels. The room cleanliness is bad essentially the bathroom above shower see pic. It took 40 mins to get food around the pool and when it arrived it was frankly inedible soggy and cold fries. This is not much above a butlins chalet room ,in general the hotel is old and tired all round . Pool is only half full terrible pool deck with nails and peeling black paint to hot to walk on. The place is 3 star at best. Broken taps, blinds lights l, fitting, old furniture, no smart tv not the the first worked properly. We had to get the safe fixed,a gecko lives in the air con unit!! Breakfast buffet not great . The one thing I will say is the staff have been fantastic about our complaints and offered a room move. Getting around if your older is very difficult as the place is on a cliff so expect a thousand step to get to reception. The do have a bus that goes round but not to everywhere. Beware!

Until now, all the staff was one of the best I’ve ever seen in terms of politeness and sympathy towards the guests. The place is also very beautifully located in the hills overlooking the ocean and Karon Beach, where you can drink something in the balcony of the bar while having an amazing view. Nonetheless you see a little bit of aging in the villas aspect outside and inside, the same with some infrastructure of the hotel(needs to be a little bit revamped IMO), but in terms of cleanliness, everything was very perfect.

If you going to Phuket AVOID Centara villas Phuket horrible place!!! Granted the view is amazing and most of reception staff is lovely. But that's it! 2 cockroaches found in our room AFTER 'cleaning' (standards are appalling). You have to get a taxi EVERYWHERE because there is no local shops even then closest 7/11 is a horrific walk away. Used flip flops in the room, no staff in the pool to order food/drinks as advertised pool side. Restaurant is over priced they add vat AND service charge to the bill which is not discretionary. Breakfast is meh Luke warm at most. The steps down to the beach are all broken, death trap waiting! The taxi used within the resort is not suitable if you have even the minimal mobility problems! They have no consideration for people. We booked back in Jan (3 villas) and non were pre allocated so only 2 close together the 3rd one very far away from the first 2. We had one driver pick up people from out other party from their room to the lobby as 2 of us weren't ready (completely different villa anyways) so when we were ready we called the driver down (maybe 5 mins later) and he didn't realise my partner understood Thai and he said 'ffs why didn't they go up together' in Thai! Maybe because we weren't ready! We don't have to all go up together especially not being in the same rooms! Room 210 we had to call someone out 2 times to unblock out drains as the 1st time abseloutly nothing happened the bathroom flooded into the bedroom to the point I had a shower and my partner couldn't because it was flooded. Only the second time did they unblock 1 drain the other one is still not drained. When they are advertising they advertise a swing in their garden with a lovely garden well no swing not garden just some grass! Just horrible in total. I won't even start on the spa!! I'm scared to go to the 'spa' it's so run down and horrible.

Pleasant enough hotel but location isn't great if you want to experience Karon. Staff seem reluctant to promote the path to the beach which needs some care but is less than 5 minutes to the sand. The town is a further 1mile along the beach. The resort is built into a hillside and so if you don't like steps or steep inclines you are dependent on the little cart. Not sure that the pool area is at all accessible for anyone with mobility difficulties. A minor point but there was no creamer in my room for use with hot drinks, tea wasn't replenished and to offer only 2 bottles of complementary water felt far too little.
