We had a wonderful stay at OZO Hotel! Our room was spotless, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious, offering a great variety of both local and international dishes. The hotel's location is excellent—just a short 5-minute walk to the beautiful Kata Beach, which made our trip even more enjoyable.
One of the small yet memorable highlights of our stay was the kind and cheerful gardener who greeted us with a warm smile and a “good morning” every day as we headed to breakfast. It was a simple gesture, but it truly added a special touch to our mornings.
The only downside was that, despite paying €2000 for 6 nights, our room did not have a balcony. For a hotel in this price range, we expected this amenity to be included.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend OZO Hotel for its cleanliness, excellent location, and friendly atmosphere!

I will start by saying the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Maybe in some cases a little over the top trying to get their review points. I can't fault the customer service however the cleaners seemed to be annoyed when we requested the room to be made up each day.
Through our travel agent we arranged a premium family room. We need accommodation 3 adults and 2 children.
We were told it was a premium family room.
When we booked we were told there would be an extra single bed set up in one of the rooms so that there would be one room with a king size bed and one room with three single beds. When we arrived there was a king bed in one room and two single beds in the other. I asked where the third bed was as they knew we were a group of five. The guy said he would get that organised straight away and rang housekeeping who came in and put a sheet, blanket and pillow on the day bed. This is what we got for around $1000Au per day. Not very happy.
What we got, two individual rooms with adjoining doors. The doors jut out into the room space we had to move around in. One of the grandchildren was standing talking to us and turned around and walked straight into the edge of the door. The striker played on the doors stuck out about 10mm and where about 200mm long, they were sharp and I cut my arm on one of them.
-There were no power points in the bath room.
-The ward robe for keeping clothes in was in the bathroom.
-the rooms faced out onto the busy street and the club's and taxis with booming music made it difficult to get the kids to sleep and then stay asleep.
-the kids loved the swimming pool but there was nowhere to dry wet swim wear once we got back to the room.
- we had five people booked to stay but each room only had two towels. We had to ask for extra towels, extra toilet paper, extra tea bags.
- the pillows on the bed were huge and fluffy until you put your head on it then they were flat and uncomfortable.
- the day bed had legs that stuck out in the end that everyone kept kicking their toes on.
- a small storage box that you could also sit on had wheels on it and when my granddaughter sat on it, it rolled out from the wall and she fell backwards onto the floor.
- the tv was on a part of a wall panel that pulled out to assist viewing but was a head hitting hazard. My wife hit her head on it a few times.
- the shower didn't drain properly and the tray filled up like a small bath and flooded out onto the bathroom floor, the shower head leaked and I had to tighten it up so that it worked properly.
- the area where the kettle and the cups are stored leaves hardly enough space to actually make a cup of tea. The cleaning staff left two tea bags a day for the room. Too bad if you like a few cups of tea a day.
- the fridge is so small we struggled to store drinks for the family in it.
This place was presented to us as a family hotel. There is nowhere to sit other than the day bed, a single plastic chair or a storage box. There was no cutlery other than a tea spoon, plate. We had to buy a knife to cut fruit etc. There was no milk provided we needed to buy it from the shop over the road.
The Flight Centre in Melbourne recommended it.
From the moment we stepped into the room we were disappointed. And within minutes of getting there and my granddaughter fell backwards of the seat I was furious. After that every bad point just stood out. Would I recommend this hotel as a family place, based on the room we were given, not at all.
It's a Russian hotel and they don't appear to be very friendly people so we made no new friends on our holiday. No one spoke English so the kids couldn't even make friends.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom room with our 3 kids (ages 5, 8, and 10) and we absolutely loved it.
We chose the hotel mainly because of its location, and it turned out to be perfect. It's located next to the Kata walking street, with a 7/11 store right in front of the hotel, plenty of shops, pharmacies, massage parlors, and good restaurants. It's just a 5-minute walk from the beach. Additionally, there's a convenient laundry service next to the hotel that delivers clothes when they're ready.
The hotel is ideal for kids, as it has 3 pools: one shallow pool for the little ones with a slide and some fountains, another slightly deeper pool with a larger slide, a volleyball net, and a climbing wall, and one for adults, which is not too deep.
Even though the hotel is not directly on the beach, there's a back door that provides easy access to the beach within a 5-minute walk, along with a spot to rinse off the sand when you return.
The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of options, not too crowded, and very tasty. There's also a section for the kids with a lower shelf where they can help themselves to food.
There are also activities for children. Every evening, there's a different movie showing, and you can buy popcorn, marshmallows, corn, and more (50 baht each).
The rooms were excellent with comfortable beds, a clean and spacious shower, and a balcony with plenty of hangers to dry swimming suits and clothes.
The service was excellent, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The place is very well maintained, and you can see that they frequently check and fix the hotel facilities.
Highly recommended!

Stayed a few days in a two twin bed room. Room was spacious and clean, unfortunately it was easy to hear noise from the hallway and other rooms but not too bad. The elevators were fast! The grounds were large and had many amenities like billiards, movie nights for kids, large pool, splash pad, water slides, and a large restaurant.
The breakfast buffet is included with the room and quite excellent, we stuffed ourselves with great food and many drink options too! The juices and entrees rotated daily so didn’t get tired of the same options. Tried dinner once and it was the best pad Thai we ate in Thailand, simply delicious! The Penang curry was also quite good. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it highly, especially the price was great for the value.

The staff is the heart of this hotel, they are all incredibly friendly and helpful and speaking good english!
The location is very good, you can reach the beach easily through the back door which has secured access.
I enjoyed the pool area.
Improvements that could be made :
- new sunbeds, they are all pretty damaged
- chocolate dip (such as Nutella) in the breakfast
- slices of cheese / chicken / ham in the breakfast
