We came for our honeymoon and had a great time!
We’ve come across some absolutely phenomenal stuff. Mario at the swim up bar has been OUTSTANDING. He was our go to all week for drinks and we waited for it to be his time at the bar. He was SUPER friendly & made great drinks!!
Shanna was also stellar at the bar! She was personable and made great drinks!
We found ourselves going back to the palms multiple times and had the BEST experience with Sharie. She was so friendly, giggly, and had the best personality. She gave such great service and made our suppers such a great experience.
Julian also did snorkeling AND the glass bottom boat and created such a fun environment. He made it such a fun experience!
We had a blast!

Pros: The resort is gorgeous! Groundskeepers work hard to keep the resort gardens taken care of. They were raking the sand, trimming trees, and discarding dropped palms daily. There are a variety of cats that roam the property. Our room was a garden veranda and was spacious and comfortable. The housekeepers service the room twice a day. They did a fantastic job keeping our room stocked and clean. Food is delicious! Beef filet at Feathers was so tender and cooked perfectly. Jerk chicken from the poolside grill was so yummy. The buffet has a variety of food each day so it wasn't hard to find something we enjoyed. There are plenty of beach chairs. It was easy to find a sunny or shady spot each day. The glass bottom boat ride is a must do activity.
Cons: Our room was located near the main road and had a lot of road noise all night long. There are only 4 restaurants open for dinner. Two of them require reservations. When we checked in they told us if we wanted to eat at the fine dining we needed to make reservations at that time. The first available time was on our second full day at 8:00 p.m. The no reservation choices at dinner is the buffet (The Palms) and an order by menu restaurant (Patois). The service at Patois was very slow. We ate at the fine dining restaurant, Feathers one night. Food was delicious, but very slow service. From start to finish it was 1 1/2 hours for dinner.
I rated the overall service as 4 stars. However, if I could separate service areas it would be:
Patois: 2/5
The Palms: 4/5
Feathers 2/5
Veggie Bar: 4/5
Poolside Grill: 4/5
Bars: 5/5
Housekeeping: 5/5
I would love to go to Jamaica again. The people are kind. We enjoyed our stay and this resort. Next time we go to Jamaica, I plan to look for a resort with more restaurants at dinner.

A great place to visit. The food and dessert spreads they put out for Super Bowl And Valentines Day were spectacular. Beaches were gorgeous. Food great. No high rise buildings. All three story villas. Recommend this for a nice relaxing get away.

I stayed at Couples Swept Away resort for three days with my family and had a fantastic time overall. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, making it easy to relax and enjoy the stay. The food was great, and the variety of activities offered, such as snorkeling and scuba diving, were a lot of fun. They also organized memorable events like live music and a beach bonfire, which added a great touch to the experience.
The female staff members at the resort deserve special recognition. They were professional, dedicated, and welcoming, going above and beyond to make sure guests had a wonderful stay. Their hard work and excellent service are a big reason for my 5-star review.
Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t flawless. As a woman traveling without a significant other, I had repeated unpleasant encounters with most of the male staff members. Instead of treating me professionally as a guest, they seemed more interested in hitting on me. Every time I walked around the resort, joined an activity, or tried to relax on the beach, they would stare inappropriately, make crude comments about my body, or harass me by repeatedly trying to get my contact details or asking me to connect on social media - despite me declining multiple times.
They often waited until I was separated from my family to approach me more overtly, even admitting they assumed my family was an obstacle to scoring with me, after I had clearly declined their various invitations.
This behavior made it challenging to fully relax and enjoy what was otherwise a remarkable resort. I strongly urge management to address this issue through comprehensive training on how to interact professionally with all guests.

Went there for our honeymoon and it was the biggest waste of money, time, and effort. The best part of our experience was the airport….the airport.
Additionally, the staff were downright rude and unpleasant. The locals will harass you at all hours of the day and night, soliciting drugs and other services. The food was a huge let down. The drinks were awful.
Last point is, my wife and booked an “Ocean Side” room. Well please be careful with making that selection because “Ocean Side” simply means you have a room NEAR the ocean. You don’t get an Ocean view or experience with this package, so shame on us for not reading that more closely.
My wife and I are not picky people. We genuinely were very excited for this trip. We love the beach, we love new cultures, and we love to travel. The few, genuinely nice staff members that were there did not make up for the horrible experience we had to put up with.
Location is beautiful but there are much better resorts and hotels on the island. If you decide to go with this resort, best of luck
