Visited 2/27/25-3/1/25.... was in town to see some shows and I found this to be the perfect location. The reviews had me nervous, but I found the stay to be very enjoyable. Every staff member I interacted with was very pleasant and kind. Yes, the room was very small and the bed a bit noisy due to the metal bed frame. The walls were thin and I could hear doors closing in the hallway but it didn't interfere with my sleep. However, it works for the price you pay and the limited time spent in the room. The hot water in the shower was very welcome after long days of walking around and discovering the city.

I had an amazing stay at OYO Times Square! The location is unbeatable—just steps away from Times Square, making it perfect for exploring NYC. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials for a great stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help with recommendations or any requests. Despite being in such a busy area, my room was quiet and cozy. The value for money was excellent, especially for such a prime location. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to New York!

A bit of a late post - I was hesitant at first staying here after reading some of the negative reviews online, but I couldn't change my accommodation so i winged it and I was impressed. The hotel staff including the lobby staff/housekeeping/maintenance were all super friendly and made you feel welcome. The room was basic, but all you need - a bed, separate bathroom and a TV. Travelling solo this room was more than sufficient. The location is fantastic close to everything. I was on the 08th floor and didn't hear too much outside noise - sometimes early in the mornings when construction workers were on the ground. Sometimes you would hear the occasional ding from the elevators and doors closing from down the hall but nothing to whinge about :) I did enjoy my stay here and would definitely consider staying here again if I return to NYC.

My first time in New York so I'll be honest and say I have nothing to compare to. We were aware we had a city tax to pay upon arrival but were surprised we also had to pay $100 per night security deposit. (We were only charged $350 which we were informed on departure) I'm happy to pay a security deposit but on seeing the room I believe its completely unnecessary. On all of my travels I have never seen a room so tiny. In my opinion the room should be sold as a single room and not a double as we had booked. We had to store our suitcases under the bed as there was nowhere to store in the room. The room was shabby and in need of some maintenance. The housekeeping team did a great job with what they had to work with so a massive thank you to them. The shower had very little power but plenty of hot water. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the room was based on our location. I expected noise from traffic but there was very little noise so a nights sleep was had. The bed was ok but could have done with an extra blanket or throw. There was air conditioning which was extremely noisy though. The hotel is very well located and I'm guessing they have much better rooms than the one we were allocated. We could store our luggage on departure which was a bonus too. I don't think I would return or if I did I would ask for more details about the room first. New York was amazing though so we still had a great holiday 😊

This hotel was great for our first trip to New York. The location is amazing, literally 30 seconds from Times Sqaure. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms are basic and small, but they were cleaned everyday and were perfectly fine for our trip. The walls are very thin so it was loud, but we brought earplugs and it wasnt a problem. Just be prepared to pay a facilities fee which includes tax ($45 per night) and a deposit of $100 per night. The deposit was refunded to us with no problems when we checked out. Overall the location makes this hotel a good place to stay!
