Wonderful overall experience in the perfect location! When I walked into this bustling hotel in the middle of NYC, I was immediately welcomed by the front desk employee named Carolyn. She was expecting me as my friend had already checked in. I was taken aback by her attentiveness and hospitality. The fact that she knew who I was and gave me her beautiful smile was so unexpected. She got us into our rooms quickly and referred us to the concierge to figure out what show we were going to go to. The concierge recommended an incredible show, and we felt he knew everything. It was fantastic to hear him explain what each show was about! Another thing that stood out was the cleaning staff. They work so hard and maintain such a friendly demeanor, always checking in and saying hello. They exuded such light and energy which goes such a long way even in the smallest interactions. At the end of the trip, we saw Carolyn again and she wanted to know everything we did and if we had a good time. I really want to say thank you to the Park Central Hotel, and especially Carolyn, for a personal experience.

I stayed at this hotel during a short trip and was impressed with the service. The staff were polite and attentive, the room was modern and very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The location made it easy to get around, and breakfast was fresh and varied. A great stay overall!

Stayed at this hotel for two nights and everything was excellent. The staff were welcoming, the room was spotless and cozy, and the service was professional. Breakfast had plenty of choices, and the location made it easy to explore the city. I’ll definitely return

I have travelled to NYC since 1984. I have stayed in many hotels. But I have never stayed somewhere where the guest is an afterthought and not valued. Whether it was my room not being cleaned and my having to beg on 3 separate occasions an employee in this hotel to clean it, whether it was the rudeness of a manager at the front desk or whether it was the TV signal not working for 2 consecutive nights, I was thoroughly not impressed with this hotel. Certainly not for the money I paid and for the nights committed. This was my first stay. This will be my last stay. If customer service is a key part of your hotel experience, you may want to truly check and compare before booking here. As an aside, the employee who came to my room to try to fix the TV was polite, understanding and I got the sense he was as fed up as I was with these service issues and with hotel management’s inept response to them.

The location is fantastic and can't be beat. However, the rooms and service leaves a bit to be desired. There was no welcome or even bit of friendliness from the staff, just seemed very transactional. I definitely expected and have seen much better from other "4 star" hotels. The rooms were adequate but definitely starting to show its age, and the bathroom really needed a good cleaning. I could see black mold/mildew around the sink and other areas in the bathroom.
