The staff was tremendous from check in to check out. The housekeepers were super friendly and really helpful, honestly they always put a smile on my face. The room we stayed in had a wonderful view and atmosphere and it was near so many restaurants and just a few blocks from Times Square. When you want something with a great view, a convenience store and AMC on the corner on top of it being right across the street from Madison Square Garden, and a subway station right next to the hotel, this is the perfect place to stay. It’s a little on the older side but it’s authentic and somewhat affordable. Would love to stay again, my boyfriend and I had a wonderful time.

Stayed here for a few days and the location itself was the greatest part of this hotel being next to Penn Station! The staff were also great, especially Samira at the front desk who was very welcoming and accommodating. She went above and beyond and even upgraded my room! There’s also a 24-hour diner on the first floor which is extremely convenient. And I believe they have a gym as well! Really couldn’t say anything wrong during my whole stay at the hotel. Will surely be back for future visits!

I have been a long standing customer of this hotel (over 10 years). The location is phenomenal because it’s really close to Penn Station and you get anywhere in nyc from there. The hotel has always been a little dated but it’s fairly nice and clean. But could use some upgrades. I’m leaving this 1 star review because I’m assuming the ownership has changed. The customer service is awful now and the hotel will nickel and dime you for everything. If your room is ready early that charge and early check in fee. If you need a late check any time after 11am it’s $25 per hour. The final straw for me and why I will never return to this hotel is they charge $5 per bag to hold your bags after check out or before you check in. All the employees seem to be afraid of the new ownership as if they are walking on eggshells. All in all, I will not be staying here again…which is very sad because I enjoyed staying there

Where do I start with this? Room was very cold. Thermostat didn’t work well no extra blankets into the room. I had a “queen” bed and we couldn’t fit well in it. I had to sleep on the pull out chair luckily. I asked for an accessible room and got still an half tub in the bathroom and my disabled mother couldn’t get in or out to shower. No microwave or coffee maker in the room or even plastic silverware only plastic cups. Great position, great lobby but not worth it for all the money they ask. NOT WORTH IT

The beds are very comfortable & the room we had which was two beds with city view, were pretty spacious. The hotel is in a great location, right next to Penn Station.
The only thing I would have liked is lights in the wardrobes which are essentially a cupboard so couldn’t see inside at night & there’s no tea, coffee facilities or a fridge-well not in our room anyway.
Overall a good four star hotel which was adequate without paying for a five star hotel when you don’t spend much time in the room anyway
