Dear Hotel Management,
I recently stayed at Hotel Crystal Sunset from October 26 to November 2, and I felt it was important to share my feedback regarding several aspects of my experience. Unfortunately, the overall stay did not meet the expectations set by the hotel's advertised 5-star rating.
Firstly, while the exterior of the hotel is impressive, the interior requires significant attention. I encountered cleanliness issues throughout my stay, including dirty lifts, rubbish on the floors, and unclean plates left in corridors. The floor in my room was unclean, and I noticed it immediately upon walking barefoot. While I appreciated the daily exchange of towels and the comfortable bed, the bedding was subpar—a blanket resembling more of a towel than an actual comforter.
The food quality was another major disappointment. The offerings were repetitive day after day, often served lukewarm, and I found the inclusion of fries for breakfast quite unusual. Unfortunately, this did not accommodate varying tastes, and I struggled to find satisfactory meal options during my stay.
The pool area was another concern. The water temperature was uncomfortably cold, rendering it unusable for relaxation or enjoyment. Additionally, the preset air conditioning in the rooms at 22 degrees was not conducive to comfort, especially for a hotel of this supposed caliber.
Service quality was lacking, as I observed several staff members preoccupied with their mobile phones instead of attending to guests’ needs. Despite staying for a week, I had drinks served to my table only twice, and when I visited the café, finding a staff member to assist was often a challenge. On one occasion, I encountered two staff members engaged with their phones in an alcove, which left me feeling neglected.
Regarding entertainment, I found it to be underwhelming and rather short, typically lasting only about 30 minutes, which did not cater to the diverse interests of guests. I also felt that the hotel primarily catered to German and Russian guests, leaving little attention for English-speaking customers.
Lastly, I had a disappointing experience at the hairdresser's, where I paid €82 for a cut and dry, only to be met with unfriendly service and poor communication from the staff.
Overall, my stay at Hotel Crystal Sunset fell significantly short of the expectations I held, given its advertised rating. I left feeling disappointed not only with the hotel but also with my experience in Turkey as a whole. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend the hotel to others.
I would like to provide some additional beach is quite far from the hotel, requiring a mini bus to get there. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to find that the beach area was not well-maintained; everything from the loungers to the dining area was dirty. Additionally, the food options were extremely limited, with only two dishes available. The restroom facilities were also lacking, as there was no toilet paper and they had a strong unpleasant odor. Overall, this made for a less than enjoyable experience."
I hope my feedback will be taken into consideration for improvements in the future.
Sincerely,
Mariana Dzherelenko
Nice and beautiful hotel. Good housekeeping service. Good location, around shops.
VERYYYY BAD quality, not fresh and the worst taste of food I ever ate. Cleanliness of dishes you can see on a video🫣
My baby and me badly poisoned so half of our “holiday” we spent in a room trying to heal ourselves.
My partners watch “disappeared” we reported to reception but nobody care.
Most of Staff not friendly even I would say ignoring.
Helpful - guest service.
Pools are cold we couldn’t use any.
I see so nice potential in that place, but so disappointed
Unfortunately not recommend at all especially if u choosing 5 star hotel with such a service🤕😓🥴

We've been here for the second time, last time was 2 years ago and the second time was last september this year. But we won't be come here another time. The pool is beautiful, and there is room for everyone, but you do have to get up at 7 am to reserve a place with your towel. The floor around the pool doesn't get cleaned enough in our opinion. The room is nice looking and space enough, but when you want to shower, you only get little bits of water out of it. I can understand that the staff won't get treated the way they should, but a smile here en there to the people who do treat them right would be better. But there was 1 bartender in particular that was amazing, Murat from the adult pool/ relax bar. He is a lovely guy who will make a small chat, bring you your (great tasting)drinks and deserves a raise😉 thanks Murat!

Very impressed. The Hotel management have been very helpful in sorting out an issue I had. They couldn't have done more for that wasn't their fault.
Bed was too hard for our liking and so they got housekeeping to add another layer to mattress.
Location great
Staff great
Hotel great
The Guest relations manager specifically came and found me to sort my issue out so I'm very happy. I'd recommend this Hotel to families as the kids love the slides etc.

Our stay was nothing short of amazing. The service and food were exceptional, exceeding all our expectations. The resort offers an incredible variety, with three stunning pools, seven diverse restaurants, and a fantastic water park that kept us entertained throughout our stay.
The entertainment program was a highlight, with activities and shows running both day and night, ensuring there was never a dull moment. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Abdullah, who went above and beyond to assist us. Whether it was helping with our luggage, guiding us to local markets, or providing directions, his friendliness and helpful nature truly made our stay special.
Fully satisfied and looking forward to returning!
