My daughter and I stayed here over the weekend of 01/10/2025. She had a gymnastics meet at the Paris hotel. Lady Luck. The beds and pillows were comfortable. But that’s about it. The room smelled like sweaty feet. There was some slimy gunk at the bottom of the shower. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t cleaned. There were finger prints on the mirror, and the smaller pull out mirror. So I know those weren't clean. Don’t bother bringing leftover food back to the hotel. There’s no mini fridge or microwave to heat them up. I thought all standard hotels had those. There’s signs saying “no smoking in hotel rooms” but they don’t follow that. The people staying in the room next to ours were smoking weed. The smell was coming into our room. We called the front desk, security didn’t come up. They said they did but couldn’t pin point which room it was coming from. After we called a second time I know they came up, the people next to us were mad, slamming doors. But they continued to smoke. We called a third time and security didn’t do anything. I think if someone is breaking rules in a hotel, they should be removed. Vegas or not, everyone is paying money to stay there and shouldn’t be subjected to smelling smoke all night. Especially when there are signs saying no smoking in rooms. Next time I’ll make sure to choose one of the other hotels to stay at. Maybe they’ll give better customer service and uphold their rules. If you go to Vegas and don’t want to smell weed all night while you’re sleeping, or actually have a clean room. Do NOT choose this hotel.

Let me leave a fair review:
1. Front Desk/Lobby: 3/5. Fair welcome. Some members helpful and others indifferent.
2. Bellmen: 5/5
3. Restaurants & food quality: 2.5/5. Limited options with very limited execution. Brunch is 3/5 at best but wait staff are pleasant.
4. Atmosphere: outdated and smells like Tobacco everywhere. Just made me congested & wheezy the entire time. Construction at night consecutively. Made sleeping on a business trip challenging.
5. Entertainment options: 4/5
6. Convenience: 5/5. Moving walkways & free tram connecting MGM brand hotels.
7. Safety: 5/5 lots of security.
8. Clean & basic. 3/5. No thrills and need to be updated.
Will not be returning for future travel to Vegas. I did not hate my stay but did not enjoy it either.

I've come back 2 times now on comps I got from playing the first time I played. Got a sweet view of the strip. The rooms are really good and clean from my experience. Lots of great things to do while staying here. I definitely recommend and will keep coming back!

Excalibur in Las Vegas offers a medieval-themed experience right on the Strip. The castle-like exterior is fun and unique, especially for first-time visitors. Rooms are clean but could use some updates to feel more modern. The casino floor is lively, with plenty of slots and table games. Dining options are diverse, though some restaurants can get pricey. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. The pool area is spacious and great for families or lounging. Staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth stay. Parking is convenient but may require a fee. Overall, it’s a budget-friendly option with a fun vibe.

It's an older hotel. And unfortunately I paid a premium - over $100 a night for Vegas it's a premium for an older hotel. That's not their fault of course as the choice of timing is my own. Anyway it's easy to navigate through the casino & hotel as being older it's also smaller comparing to the likes of Venetian. You can walk from it directly to some nearby properties. I love how there's a cafe right outside of the tower we stayed at, which is the Resort Tower. Since in Vegas there are often no coffee makers in the rooms, it's great to be able to get coffee conveniently in the morning downstairs. There's also an alcohol/provision shop right outside of the Resort Tower, opposite from the cafe. I remember the room seemed clean not much else. As a Marriott Gold member I found staying at this hotel is not particular good since the MGM Collection seems rather poorer in terms of the benefits. And the check in check out counter clerks didn't seem very warm or helpful, and didn't care about Marriott membership program. So service is the only area I'm not very happy about.
