This place is an excellent choice if you aren’t going to stay in the room too much. The rooms themselves are nice but you can hear every noise that’s in the hallway. Also, the main pool for adults has construction and they direct you to other hotels in the area since the family pool barely has room. It’s in a great area on the Vegas strip, and plenty of shows are offered and excellent dining options including 24/7 service. The casino is a great place as well with a lot of variety for table games and slots. Rupauls drag race live was running and it was an excellent show to see. They also have a show X burlesque which was great for adults as well to see, with very affordable seating. They do have actual flamingos and birds outside with gorgeous backdrops for photos and to spend some time. It did smell though which was normal since they are animals. Tech room was extremely limited but they do hold your luggage and things if you arrive early or leave late before you check in/out. They do charge a fee for early check in or late check out of course. Overall services were fine, but it was unfortunate about the current construction.

Ah, the Flamingo in Vegas, where the water issues have become a comedic staple! It's like they're trying to turn the hotel into a water-free experience, just for the thrill of it.
Imagine trying to get ready for a night out and not being able to take a shower, wash your face, or even flush the toilet! What a way to start the evening!
And the best part? When you call the front desk, they basically shrug and say, “we'll get to it eventually. In the meantime, here's a $50 credit - go buy some wet wipes or something." How thoughtful!
You expect a nice stay in a legacy hotel and instead, you end up feeling like you're living in a college dorm. At least there are beds, right? That's about the only positive they can offer.
The Flamingo - where the water issues are the norm, and the only thing flowing freely is the frustration of the poor, unsuspecting travelers. What a legacy they're building there! Bravo.

The flamingo is in the best part of the city. It's the heart of the City. It's one of the original casino hotels. Vegas is not what it used to be. We were here the first week of October 2024. There are no longer cheap rates or good amenities. We didn't even have coffee in our room. I thought that was pretty standard for most hotels.
The view is spectacular, we opted for a stripped view and it did not disappoint. We could even see the Bellagio fountains.
The pool here at the Flamingo was under construction. For that I feel that we should not have been charged a resort fee. As we couldn't even enjoy the amenities that they do still have.
The flamingos were beautiful and we enjoyed taking pictures with them. They are behind an enclosure like a zoo.
I am in my forties and it is my first time in Las Vegas. I think I missed the boat with all of the cheap fun nonsense. Everything was extremely expensive. So keep that in mind when you are looking to come here.
And they still allow smoking everywhere, so if you are asthmatic or sensitive, you may want to wear a mask when you walk through the casinos.
All in all we did enjoy our stay at the flamingo. There were some things that I was looking forward to like the pool that did not pan out. We would stay here again if we ever needed to be in Vegas. But nobody really NEEDS to be in Vegas, right?

Hi all! I had an awesome time! My Go Executive remodeled room was so cute! I loved the heated family pool, very cache with beautiful trees surrounding. Small but cozy. The large 21+ pool is under construction until aprox May of 2025...Good thing I didn't need that. (Is going to be awesome when finished I heard). Courtyard was BEAUTIFUL. A couple glitches with no phone costumer service at 530am and them not cleaning our room or replenishing towels etc (the one day we decided to not put our occupied sign on). Overall great experience.

Good: Housekeeping was great, spa staff and security were friendly and helpful. “Conservatory” is pretty cool actually. Pool was closed for renovations but heard it was supposed to be one of the better ones in Vegas. Location is great and accessible to a lot of the strip.
Fine: Rooms are decent but aged. Elevator card key access is finicky. Casino floor is mediocre but fine.
Bad: The front desk service is pretty bad. Mobile check-in and virtual check-in did not work. Was about 30-45 minutes to check in. The next day, I waited in line for 30 min to ask for a toothbrush since they closed the “service” desk. Front desk was rude, then said they would send up a toothbrush. I called housekeeping an hour later and they said that no request was ever put in. Went back downstairs and chatted with the another agent/manager who said they don’t have complimentary toothbrush/paste. Fine, but they never called or let me know that the order was not placed and wasted a ton of time.
Was a bit of a “you get what you pay for”.
