Great casino. One of the most famous "Old school" casinos. It has been here nearly forever it has been a Landmark of the West for over 100 years. Good food, nice rooms. Sometimes you can get a great deal when there is a special function (Vegas Bike Week). They have an actual gold bar vending machine in the lobby.

Love staying at the Nugget! We usually are in Carson Tower which can be a long walk to rooms, but the beds are soft and comfortable. Bathrooms have good shampoo, conditioner, and body wash mounted in the shower...no stupid tiny bottles to deal with. No fridges in the rooms. The Tank pool is awesome and drink and food service at the pool is great! Renting a cabana at the pool is totally worth it if you are spending a full day at the pool! Slots are not loose, but all kinds of fun table play with great dealers. Love staying on Fremont Street vs. the strip!

Was a pretty cool place. I'm not the biggest fan of gambling or drinking, but if you are, this is a good spot. Right on the strip and with a good view of all the emergency vehicles passing through. My only complaint is that the room was pretty bland and empty. It felt like an older hotel in the room and could have used a couch or table somewhere to fill the empty space. I imagine they do that to get you out of your room to gamble more. But it was pretty nice.

The Golden Nugget Las Vegas Hotel & Casino is a classic destination that perfectly blends old Vegas charm with modern amenities. Located in the heart of downtown on Fremont Street, the hotel offers a variety of luxurious rooms and suites, many with fantastic views of the city or the iconic pool. Speaking of the pool, the Shark Tank Pool is a standout feature, with a waterslide that goes right through an aquarium filled with sharks, making for an unforgettable experience.
The casino itself is spacious and lively, offering a wide range of games for both casual and serious gamblers. With excellent dining options, from casual eats to fine dining, there's something to satisfy every craving. The hotel's central location makes it easy to explore Fremont Street’s vibrant nightlife and attractions. Whether you're looking to gamble, relax by the pool, or enjoy great food and entertainment, the Golden Nugget provides a memorable Las Vegas experience with a touch of vintage flair.

Great location if you're in Vegas for the Fremont Street experience. Poker room is small, but lots of action. Good loose slots. Front desk personnel are not friendly and make sure you ask for daily service in your room, or security will bust the door in when you least expect it.
