My wife and I have stayed her on a couple of our visits to NYC & we love the place. Our room was a tad on the small side, but it was very clean and accommodating. The beat part of our stay was the heartwarming view overlooking the Hudson River. The hotel staff was very friendly & professional. The manager gave us some excellent recommendations on places to visit and where to grab some great NY cuisine! The hotel is located in the perfect spot, not far from the subway station with easy access to transportation. The 911 Museum, Battery Park, Wall Street, China Town, and The Statue of Liberty are all nearby. I highly recommended staying here. Prices were reasonable & the location is hard to beat.

Very small room. I understand it's NYC but this was not a 2 person room. Wasn't happy with the free breakfast at all. Won't go into detail. It wasn't worth the price. Front desk workers were amazing tho. Very helpful and well mannered

My family stayed here for 5 nights. We arrived a few hours before check-in to drop off our luggage but they were able to get us into our room which was very nice as we were tired from traveling all day. Our refrigerator wasn't working but the front desk receptionist was able to get us a replacement very quickly. Our towels were replaced and the room was tidied everyday which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was good and helps to save money on dining out. Just get there early or it can be hard to find seating and some items might be gone. The only con was that 1 of the 2 small elevators was not working for a few days which meant sometimes it took a very long time to catch it (as there are 27 floors). Don't know if that's a common occurrence though or if it was just an issue during our stay. Location feels safe and is very close to a Duane Reade, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and the subway. Overall this is a great place to stay especially for those on a budget. I would definitely stay here again.

Location is nice, friendly staff and breakfast buffet is good. But we experienced a bad cleaning experience. We did not have the 'do not disturb' sign on the door and our room was never cleaned when we stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. It was like that, because we are paying for housekeeping not for us to clean it up.

Well the really great things about this hotel is the staff, breakfast and location. And that’s it. The rooms are smallllll. No mini fridges. Super outdated. The mold smell from the unwashed shower curtain immediately hits you when you open the door. It’s cleanish but so dated it looks dirty. The furniture is falling apart. The shower was so slippery at the bottom I injured myself pretty badly. We told them upon checkout that morning and all I got was “are you okay”, didn’t ask to file a report or anything. The pain is pretty significant. The outlets barely worked, my phone wouldn’t charge anywhere in this room. I thought it was my phone or charger but nope, as soon as I got home they charged fine. The rooms are so close together you can hear everything. Really hard to sleep.
