My first time in NYC so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I thought the rooms would be on the smaller side but there were two queen beds in the room plus all other items plus the en-suite. There was everything you need plus an hair dryer and a iron which was handy but not expected. The room was refreshed every day. I first thought that the reception area (the staff were great) was a little small without a bar/restaurant but as we explored the area I changed my view as there were so many places around especially Crompton Ale House. By luck the view out the window was looking straight towards the Empire State. In summary I wouldn’t have any hesitation in returning or recommending this hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn Chelsea. The location is excellent—close to subway stations, Penn Station, and walking distance to many NYC attractions. The room was clean and quiet, with a comfortable bed. Staff was friendly and check-in was smooth. The room size was small, but that’s expected in Manhattan. Overall, a great stay and good value for the area!

Fantastic location. We was close to the subway stations and we were central for our stay/itinerary. Lots of nice places to eat & drink close by too. There was three of us stayed in a 2 double bed standard room. Very comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. We just struggled a little with luggage space . Be helpful if the desk area was more open to accommodate suitcases going underneath. Very happy with the cleaning service. The lifts drove us crazy at times as seemed very slow. Luggage was stored for us after check out and it was easy for us to collect. Highly recommend for comfort, cleanliness and feeling safe.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Manhattan on 6th Avenue last week during a short business trip, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is definitely the highlight—central, walkable, and only minutes from Penn Station and major subway lines. It’s perfect for visitors who want to explore Manhattan without needing to drive. The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk staff were courteous and efficient. My room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for such a busy part of the city. The bed was soft, the linens were fresh, and the AC worked perfectly. I appreciated having a mini fridge and coffee maker in the room. There’s also a small café inside the hotel, which was convenient for grabbing a quick bite in the morning. The only downside was the size of the elevators—they’re a bit slow, especially during peak hours. But that’s a minor issue compared to the overall convenience and value of this hotel. Though the room was very small, the convenient location, modern accommodations, skyline view, and comfortable bedding were perfect for a quick overnight stay. The staff members who checked us in were wonderful! If you’re coming to NYC for a weekend and don’t plan to spend much time in your room, this hotel is perfect.
