I was not looking forward to staying in this hotel, my company booked it. I was very impressed. I arrived late on Thursday night after a flight delay. It was close to midnight and everything was open, alive, and vibrant. I checked in and when right out to a restaurant just a few doors down and had a wonderful meal. The Bronze Owl bar in the hotel is so stylish and chic, with great cocktails and super friendly staff. There is a fantastic dessert shop just outside the hotel lobby called Sweet Graffiti that I visited twice during my stay, yummy! The front desk staff were great and my room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. I look forward to returning!

This historic hotel is centrally located in Manhattan. And as soon as you walk in you appreciate it's historic charm and decor. But as soon as you walk out its doors, you are also greeted with the hustle and bustle of one of the most visited cities on the planet! Steps away from great shopping like the Macy's Department Store, which is gigantic! And multiple restaurants to satisfy your palate. The hotel has a pleasant staff and well- knowledge bell hoppers who could provide great information on the hotpots of the city!

We just got back from NYC and stayed at this hotel. There are so many places to choose from and so many reviews, it's hard to know where to book. I am so glad we booked the Martinique! We had a room with 2 queen beds (which are hard to find in the city) and it was clean, very central to everywhere you wanted to go, and the staff was friendly. A big shout out to Jose & Leon (bellman) that were very attentive and helpful with tips and information. We would stay here again!

After my fourth stay at this hotel, unfortunately it will be my last. Each trip has been worse, which is a shame because the historical building is nice and the location is unbeatable. But with all the Hilton (and other) competition in the city, i would skip this place. The service was really bad (except in the restaurant, great bartenders!). When trying to give our bags to the bell boys to store, they wouldn't stop chatting with each other to even acknowledge us. I'm a Hilton Gold member and was completely denied an upgrade, even thought the hotel was far from full. The bathrooms were tiny, there was nowhere to store ANYTHING and the beds were rock hard. I attempted to speak with the manager before checking out, and followed up with an email, and never heard back. Save your hard earned money and stay elsewhere!

Best choice for hitting a few Bradway shows. So very close to the Empire State and Penn Station is too far away either. The lobby is spacious. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was excellent. One downside: low water pressure in the shower. The dining room was very iceand boasted a load of healthy options. Will revisit soon!
