Stayed in the Polynesia Hotel this weekend just passed, 28/2/25 - 3/3/25 in specifically room 151. Beds were perfect, balcony was lovely and the food was nothing short of delicious. Staff were extremely nice and despite a small language barrier communication was fine. In the area we stayed in it was quiet and calm, yet so close to all of the shops, just an elevator ride away. The only downside is that the balcony drains were blocked. Aside from that everything was too notch, it’s only been a few hours since I checked out and I’m already missing the hotel! Can’t wait to go on holiday next year May 2026 already, and hopefully I’ll get to go to the Polynesia Hotel again!

Avoid if you're looking for a true family-friendly all-inclusive holiday! We’re currently staying here and are extremely disappointed. We booked based on the advertised indoor play area and indoor pool, but the reality is far from what was expected. - Indoor Play Area: It’s just okay, but parents aren’t allowed inside, meaning you can only watch from the outside, which is far from ideal. - Food Quality: Very average at best. While some salads and fresh fruit are available, most other options are heavy, fried, and repetitive. I’ve had stomach issues since day one. The red wine is terrible and served cold. - Indoor Pool (or lack thereof): This was the biggest disappointment and a dealbreaker. It’s advertised as a pool, but it’s actually part of a "spa" and costs an extra €15 per person, per hour! On top of that, kids aren’t allowed in the afternoons. Had I known this in advance, I would never have booked. The pool is run down, sauna is not hot and the wooden boards in sauna are broken, have to be careful not to break a leg. - Service & Communication: some staff at reception or in the pool (“spa”) barely speak English, making it difficult to get help or even basic information. - rooms: probably the best part of it since there is a living area and a bedroom. Beds are ok but they separate at night Overall, this is NOT a true all-inclusive experience, many things come at an extra charge, and the facilities are not as family-friendly as they claim. We regret booking here and wouldn’t recommend it.

Rooms are really good size and have the best views of the pool and the sea. Walking distance to beaches and all amenities. One thing i did not like much was the wristband door that they insist you to wear at check-in. We stayed for a week, and It was really annoying to wear them throughout our stay :( ( It's hardly work on the doors,we had to request a regular magnetic card for opening doors) and also pay a security deposit for them.

Our week-long stay at the Holiday World Polynesia Hotel in Benalmádena, Málaga, was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in the hotel’s unique Polynesian-themed design, which transported us to a tropical paradise. The lush architecture, inspired by destinations like Bora Bora and Samoa, set the tone for a relaxing, family-friendly atmosphere. Accommodation: Our Junior Suite was spacious and comfortable, offering over 60 m² of space. It had a separate living room and bedroom, with a fully equipped bathroom featuring both a bathtub and a shower. The room was well-maintained and cleaned daily, with fresh towels provided. The terrace was a lovely addition, offering a quiet spot to unwind after a day by the pools. Dining: The hotel’s Maeva Buffet Restaurant offered a variety of dishes, catering to different tastes, from Mediterranean cuisine to international flavors. We also enjoyed meals at the Polynesian and Asian-themed restaurants, which offered a more unique dining experience. A highlight was the attentive service—every meal felt personalized, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. What made our dining experience even more special was how accommodating the staff were regarding my daughter’s severe nut allergy. They were incredibly careful when explaining food options, ensuring her meals were free from any potential allergens, and even prepared special dishes just for her. This thoughtful attention made us feel so comfortable, and my daughter felt truly special and safe throughout our stay. Facilities: The Monoi Spa & Wellness Center was a standout feature, offering a relaxing spa circuit that included contrast showers, Finnish saunas, Roman and Turkish baths, and a semi-circular pool with hydrotherapy massages. It was a peaceful retreat after a day of activities, with reasonably priced access for both adults and children. The Beach Club was a hit with the whole family, featuring nine pools, water slides, and even a wave pool. The kids had a blast, and we enjoyed lounging by the pool. There were also various activities available, including mini-golf, ping pong, and poolside games, ensuring that there was something for everyone. Service: The staff throughout our stay were friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. The reception team was multilingual, making communication easy, and they ensured a smooth check-in and check-out process. The staff at the restaurants were particularly helpful with dietary restrictions, ensuring our dining experience was safe and enjoyable. However, the Wi-Fi connection was somewhat inconsistent, with the best signal available in the lobby area. Areas for Improvement: While the hotel’s design and amenities were impressive, the sunbathing zones around the pools could be improved. Some areas felt too concrete and lacked greenery, which impacted the overall relaxation vibe. Adding more plants or shaded areas would improve the comfort of guests who like to relax in the sun. Conclusion: Overall, our stay at the Holiday World Polynesia Hotel was fantastic. The combination of stunning design, excellent facilities, and exceptional service made it a memorable holiday. We were especially grateful for how the hotel catered to my daughter’s severe nut allergy, ensuring her safety and comfort throughout the week. While there are a few small areas for improvement, we would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a family-friendly, relaxing getaway. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff went above and beyond, and we left with great memories.

I’ve just come here to say in the hope that others may be spared the disappointment - beware the Latin dance festival which happens here on a yearly basis called ‘Viva La Bachata’, stayed here in May 2024 and on some nights the pounding music, young adults walking around the corridors didn’t stop til around 6am. Appears to be scheduled for this hotel again this year (2025). With a toddler (as was our circumstance) this is less than ideal, particularly when the hotel is marketed predominantly as a family friendly hotel. This event should be very clearly advertised when booking through a holiday company.. which currently it is not. Otherwise a lovely hotel and helpful staff, only overshadowed by the daily trek to the ‘better’ pool/water park which is a five minute bus ride from the hotel itself.
