Bad Hotel. Not a 4 star. Let`s start with the pool area. It was very dirty and it wasen`t cleaned at all the one week we were there. The area around with grass has not been mowed for weeks and it`s filled with cigrarette butts and other garbage. The sunbeds needs cleaning too. Towels from the day before was not removed from sunbeds. The pool has alot of debrees from the palm trees around. The little "all inclusive" room had a sticky floor and It smelled like Vodka. Perhaps from a guest that spilled Vodka on the floor and it wasent cleaned the week we were there. The selection of things to eat and drink is poor. Ther was no gas in the soda dispenser. The orangejuice taste like vodka so if you like Screwdriver`s you`r gonna be a happy camper. The applejuice also taste like vodka. And don`t get me started on the coffey. The dining area looks clean. The food is basic and taste nothing. The "Seafood" was like rubber. The juice in here taste like vodka too. If you like fresh milk you are in for at treat because the milk wss so warm i think it comes straight from the cow. The bucket on the floor from a leaky roof or air condition was present all week. Why fix it? Frying and egg should be easy enough but the egg ends up on the plate like a disaster. We ended up eating dinner at the lokal restaurants almost every night. We tried to eat dinner at the hotel but it was the same food that was served for lunch. Step in to the time machine aka The "Suite" and go back in time to 1987. There is no Air Condition, and it was 35 degrees on arival. The lady at the desk toold us that the ventilation was for use in wintertime. So we had to put the vent on 25 degrees and wait for it to cool a little bit down. The shower drain was clogged so we had our own pool in the bathroom. And that is not as cool as it sounds like:/ And the shower head sprayed water all over the place. The refridgerator held held 15 degreees and the shelf inside was broken. The beds matresses was hard and uncomfortable. It was not even clean under the bed or under the matresses. And one light on the wall was blinking all the time. This is just a few of the things wrong with this 2 star. Not recommended.

Good: The staff are mostly great, especially the activities coordinator (I think his name is Jordi) - such a nice guy who goes out of his way to make sure everyone is enjoying their stay. He had a chat to us on his day off in the bar and he's so easy going and pleasant. The food was also really nice; not a massive choice compared to other all inclusive hotels I've stayed at but quality and taste was excellent. Parking was easy in the street outside or in a free public car park literally a one minute walk away. Bad: It should just be called Illot Suites as the Spa is closed and based on what I both heard and saw will not be reopening any time soon. The staff have been told to blame Covid but it's clearly because it needs work. The hotel is really nice in parts but is showing its age in other areas. There is an abandoned tennis court with no net out the back; the squash courts have been converted to a children's play room and the outdoor area next to the pool has more weeds than grass. The all inclusive drink menu is limited with little choice of cocktails and only a handful of spirits with no supplement option. Location: If you haven't been to Capdepara or the surrounding area before, it's worth noting it's quite a journey to most other parts of the island. If you like exploring, the location probably isn't for you. If hiring a car, it's roughly 1h15 to Palma, 1h30 to Soller and surprisingly over an hour to Alcudia. However if you're happy to stay in the town, it's well served with loads of restaurants and a few nice beaches. Overall: I actually enjoyed my stay here despite the above "bad" comments. I do think they should be clearer / more honest about the Spa, especially on third party booking sites. However for the price we paid, I felt I got reasonable value for money and have stayed in far worse hotels that have cost more. If the owners tidy up some of the more tired areas of the building and sort the spa out it would be a great hotel to stay at.

Has everything you need for a pleasant stay. No shortage on the food always plenty available. Found all the staff very good especially the dining room stayed all inclusive a couple of times the wine had ran out once I had informed a member of staff it was quickly filled. Would I stay again, Yes. Once you got to know the area turned out to be the perfect location. 10 minutes walk in any direction would lead you to contrasting locations.

We booked blind on a last minute deal but could not be happier with everything. The food is exceptional, the staff are friendly and helpful and it would be difficult to beat the location. Fifteen minutes walk takes you to three different beaches, ten minutes away is an abundance of shops and a beautiful harbour, promenade and restaurants. The hotel is clean, efficient and one street from a very pretty town.
