The best hotel I have been to in New York. I give it a 10 out of 10 for everything. The cleanliness of the hotel in general, the attention of all the staff, the super nice, modern and clean rooms and incredible views. I was on the 21st floor and we loved it, they clean them and put on new clothes every day. The most complete buffet breakfast I have ever seen and all the waitresses are lovely. Not to mention the best location they have, Time Square is just one block away, meaning a 1 minute walk. And best of all, when we arrived it was 9 am and they already had rooms available and from that time they lovingly located us. Check out is at 12 on the day you are leaving and they have the option that you can pay $20 an hour if you want to stay a little longer like us since our flight leaves at 7 pm and we decided to stay until 3 pm and we paid an extra $60 which seems great to us so we don't have to be walking around with children and suitcases in the street. I hope you continue like this. For our part, whenever we return, we will come here. Echo already has a reservation to return, God willing, in November. We will see each other again. Keep up the efficient .

An excellent hotel, very well situated near Broadway. I stayed for 10 nights and I was well looked after throughout. The room was comfy and well kept by housekeeping, with a great view over the Richard Rogers (excellent as a Hamilton fan!). The reception staff were helpful and friendly, and the bar was also a comfy quiet place to visit after a long day exploring the city. The coffee shop attached also has good quality lunch food and coffee. There is a well kept and equipped gym downstairs. Crucially, the air conditioning is very good, essential in the summer! I would recommend this hotel for anybody looking for a comfortable stay in the heart of midtown.

We are delighted with our decision to book our stay at Hotel Riu Plaza New York Times Square. The hotel made us feel exceptionally valued by sending a complimentary bottle of champagne to our room in celebration of our wedding anniversary. This thoughtful gesture truly made the moment memorable and special.
The hotel's location is ideal for tourists, situated right in the heart of Times Square. Many of the city's best attractions are within walking distance, which not only makes sightseeing convenient but also saves money on transportation.
The breakfast offerings at the hotel are impressive, with a wide variety of options to cater to all tastes. They serve an array of meats, vegetables, fruits, cereals, breads, and spreads, along with a selection of drinks.
Despite being on the 22nd floor, the elevator service was remarkably fast, which we appreciated greatly.
Our room boasted a fantastic view, thanks to the floor-to-ceiling glass window. It was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

We booked this room because we were going to a show and it was a great time! The location was fantastic and was convenient to where we were going.. Everything from booking online, to check in, and check out was great! We were allowed to do an early check in which made everything easier, the room/bathroom was clean, and we had a great view! The breakfast was amazing and there was def alot to choose from! The entire staff was courteous and professional.. Based on my experience, I def recommend this hotel!

We stayed here in May as a couple and we were really impressed with this hotel. It is about a 2 minute walk to the "steps" in times square but a bit out of the busy-ness of it all. We were facing times square but heard no noise, it was amazing.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, we had a cancelled flight and they helped us to call back to the UK.
We were worried about the breakfast reviews but we thought these reviews were ridiculous as we only had to wait once and this was for about 2 minutes as we came down for breakfast at 8am, which we were warned was a busy time anyway! Definitely better to get breakfast in early though as slightly quieter.
We loved our room, the only downside is the lack of privacy due to glass sliding doors to the bathroom, I'd imagine if you were with a family member it might be uncomfortable.
If it's your first visit to new York like it was for us, then we would thoroughly recommend this hotel. You are so central that when you come home you can pop out for food or literally any type of entertainment as everything is so close by.
We would definitely come back here in the future and for the price ( we booked a year in advance) it was well worth it and cheaper than most other hotels! 5 stars all round
