Only 2 elevators for 44 floors… easily a 7-10 minute wait every time you need to get up or down. If you are here on holiday and don’t care about wasting your time, maybe you won’t mind it. If you’re a business traveler, beware.
Very thin walls and a lot of rooms have connecting doors to the adjacent room. You can hear a pen drop… I had the pleasure of listening to my neighbor call everyone he knows on speaker phone until midnight.
However, the staff was very nice and the rooms were clean. This hotel simply has some significant design problems.

Good hotel and I have to say, great location despite it being in Financial District. I was pretty much 20 minutes away (or less) from key areas I wanted to visit. Very close to subways.
Room was clean. Another big plus: no noise at night seen as everyone had left the neighbourhood after working hours.

The elevator wait times were unbelievably long. During our entire 3-day stay, one elevator was out of service, and despite repeated attempts to fix it, it kept breaking down. With 44 floors and only three elevators, operating with just two was incredibly frustrating.
To make matters worse, there was no air conditioning in the hallways while we waited—sometimes for over 30 minutes. The elevators themselves were also without air conditioning and constantly stopped on every floor, as people kept pressing the buttons in both directions, eventually giving up and opting for the stairs.
I especially felt for the guests with luggage trying to move in or out. The best times to use the elevators are between 1-3 pm or after 10 pm, avoiding rush hours and the busy check-in/check-out periods.
Room was clean, good value for your money aside from the above issue. Good if you are staying alone and willing to take stairs up and down. Ask for low floor.

Please do not book here! You’ll be wasting your money. They have horrible service, the front desk is rude and they’ll scam you for your money. I booked for a city view room in August 2024 and once I checked in, it wasn’t a city view room, the room was so small with no walking space. You can only view the hotel’s roof and nothing else when looking out the window. I informed them this isn’t the right room and they said unfortunately we cannot accommodate you for another one due to the hotel having sold out rooms and no longer had any reservations due to Labor Day weekend. The shower’s water was cold and the shower door had a leaked and the water would come outside the door leaving the floor flooded. It takes numerous hours to receive any repairs or towels from house keeping and front desk. The ice machine was broken on all the floors except for the second floor. This hotel experience will have any guest be inconvenienced, unsatisfied, disappointed and frustrated. When you check out they won’t have a receipt available, they’ll lie and say the system is down. They make false promises to their guest staying at their hotel. I repeat don’t WASTE YOUR MONEY, you’ll regret it, especially if you are from another state.

Not recommended.
This hotel has 44 floors and only 3 elevators, which is absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous, i just saw other reviews with the same complaints.
I have never experienced anything like this before. Every time I wanted to leave or return to my room, it was a challenge. I had to wait several minutes just to get an elevator.
To make things worse, the hotel uses one of the elevators for collecting trash for example, leaving only 2 functioning elevators for guests. This made the situation even more frustrating.
We stayed for 2 days at the beginning of the week, and had booked an additional 2 nights at the end of the week.
We wanted to cancel the 2nd reservation due to the poor experience we had ,unfortunately, it was too late and not free of charge.
