I can confidently say it was one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had. From the moment I tried to reach them, it became clear that customer service was not a priority. First and foremost, the phone never got answered. I attempted to call multiple times, both during the day and in the evening, only to be met with constant ringing or, worse, long hold times without any response. It's incredibly disheartening to feel ignored, especially when you're looking for assistance or have questions about your booking. The room itself was mediocre at best, but the overall experience was marred by the lack of support from the staff. Need more towels? Forget about it. Want to report an issue? Good luck finding someone to talk to! Clearly hotel prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction, and it's reflected in their service—or lack thereof. If you value good service and peace of mind during your stay, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. This hotel has a long way to go in understanding what hospitality truly means.

Allison is AMAZING! My family and I were traveling from out of town and were amazed by the costumer service we received. We were unsure after a small procedure if we would be able to make the trip down. Thanks to Allison, she ensured us we would be able to cancel if need be closer to our reservation. Upon arrival, she was so happy to see us all that she upgraded our room out of the goodness of her heart! My family is feeling so blessed for her kindness. We also met the sweetest front desk staff member named Maxine who greeted us with a BIG smile and helped to guide us to Jack, with his charming hat, to secure our luggage until our room was ready. Thank you to the AMAZING staff here at The Manhattan! So thankful to have stayed at such a convenient located place too.

We spent the weekend for my birthday and had a really nice experience. It’s a perfect location for all we had planned. The hotel is currently under construction, which is what may account for some of the bad reviews. Fortunately we got one of the newly renovated rooms, and it was very cute, and clean. The staff was nice and accommodating. Overall a great experience.

Wonderful stay 12/13 &12/14. Great Christmas decorations in the lobby The rooms are clean, very dated, but they are in the process of remodeling. The have a nice grab and go breakfast in the lobby 6am-12 pm, drinks, fruit, and pastries. If you arrive early, as we did, they will store your luggage for you. Staff is there 24/7. Elliot the bell-hop was great! He helped us arrange transportation to the Newark Liberty Airport for our early morning flight home. Raquel at the check-in desk is very knowledgeable and gave us some great ideas for things to do and see, as well as dining options. The location is perfect. So close to Times Square and so many other must-see attractions! We enjoyed our stay immensely!!
