I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone !
It was the best experience ever in Manhattan with tremendous assistance I got at the front desk.
Julie was superb with giving me advice if I needed to extend my stay.
Not forgetting Allison, was extremely pleasant and easy to approach with information pertaining to my stay as well.
Additionally, Mr Mohammed! This guy was so so so considerate, kind and accommodating to me .
He will do anything to assist guests bring back and forth from the desk to even helping out with breakfast. He was
benevolent with directions how to get to places where I wanted to.
The hotel rooms was cleaned and spacious.
I felt a homely ambiance.
Despite the hotel being hectic and full to capacity with people during this busy time of the year .
I was 💯 💯 satisfied booking this hotel .
Absolutely, no regrets with certainly go again .

DO NOT STAY HERE. I am beyond upset with our experience. What was supposed to be a wonderful experience for the holidays turned nightmare due to this hotel. They are literally liars and its 100% not worth your money or time.
I booked my trip back in Aug-Sept for the first week of December. Upon arrival, I am told my premium room type if overbooked and because we are not "Members" we do not get priority. Essentially, they will give your room up to a member if a member wants the room even if you book much in advance, they do not honor your booking.
Then the receptionist offered us to cancel the reservation all together, and they will honor the refund. We are in the middle of another city, booked our hotel months in advance, and you would like to offer us the opportunity to cancel our reservation and go where?? She then proceeded to offer us a downgrade from our premium room to standard, with no worthy benefits. We would have a downgraded room and some free breakfast which costs like less than $10 a person? She then tried her best to help us with getting 2 nights downgraded and 1 night with our original room. This is the option we chose. Still, I did not believe that we were fully compensated so I asked if a manager could help us our due to the inconvenience their mistake has caused us and ruined our trip. The manager then came over and explained the same thing (overbooked and they prioritize members, which I do not believe is a fair policy because I have never had this issue with any other hotel) and he offered to discount the nights that we stayed in the downgraded rooms and void all fees.
I've been battling them with my bank for a month now and they're now rejecting my partial refund that was agreed upon during the stay because we were basically forced to downgrade. They do not honor anything; from the room you book to the "compensation" they will allot you.
The room we got downgraded to was terrifying! You're paying $400-500 a night to be scared? We get it the hotel is old, and NYC is old, but the blinds didn't work, the door's double lock didn't even work properly, we had to basically sleep with one eye open.... The room we actually paid for and got to stay in for 1 night was what we were expecting was nice... I believe we should get our refund approved and we do NOT recommend anyone stay here. Read the reviews, not worth the price or your time.
They already ruined our time in NYC and now they're refusing to compensate what was owed to us. I do not like writing bad reviews, but this place is horrendous.

I can confidently say it was one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had. From the moment I tried to reach them, it became clear that customer service was not a priority.
First and foremost, the phone never got answered. I attempted to call multiple times, both during the day and in the evening, only to be met with constant ringing or, worse, long hold times without any response. It's incredibly disheartening to feel ignored, especially when you're looking for assistance or have questions about your booking.
The room itself was mediocre at best, but the overall experience was marred by the lack of support from the staff. Need more towels? Forget about it. Want to report an issue? Good luck finding someone to talk to!
Clearly hotel prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction, and it's reflected in their service—or lack thereof. If you value good service and peace of mind during your stay, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. This hotel has a long way to go in understanding what hospitality truly means.

This hotel exceeded our expectations! Considering the price we paid, we didn’t expect the rooms or the view to be as great as they were. However, everything turned out fantastic from the moment we arrived, and we were even able to check in early.
The room was spotless and peaceful, with a very comfortable bed that made our stay even more enjoyable.
We’ll definitely be coming back!
A special thanks to Maxine, Guillermo, Allison, and Mohammed for going above and beyond to ensure our experience at the hotel was exceptional.

It is IMPERATIVE to stay in one of the renovated rooms. We were on the 21st floor and the rooms were newly renovated, modern and most of all - CLEAN! We had a beautiful view of the city. Beds were super cozy, I slept comfortably. I really appreciate the communication and effort from management, as I was extremely nervous of being placed into a non upgraded floor.
I gave a 4 star, but teeter closer to a 3/4. While beautifully renovated, the walls are paper thin. You can hear a pin drop in the hallway, never mind conversations. Also had a bunch of banging noises. Maybe active work being done? It honestly wasn’t a deal breaker though. We had an ice bucket, but no ice machine. No mini fridge. There is no breakfast or resting area. Lobby doesn’t have seating. Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend arriving early.
My only major negative view on this hotel, is that they’re continuing to rent out rooms that are not sanitary, but also safe. And this falls on corporate - I don’t find it to be a direct reflection of the staff at this location. During one of our many elevator rides, a fellow guest was visibly upset because one of their family members had been electrocuted by an outlet. A simple way to avoid problems, is to take the loss and quit renting these rooms to people until renovations are completed. I could’ve cried just seeing the hallways of those floors, as we’d pass them on the elevator. It’s truly not okay to trap tourists into staying in such filthy conditions. I mean - drastically lower the costs, if you must.
With all of that being said - This hotel is ABSOLUTELY going in the right direction and when everything is complete, I’m confident they’ll be fantastic. I just think transparency is important and they are dropping the ball there. Employees also don’t deserve to be dealing with the influx of angry customers. I feel for both parties. Corporate, do better. The greed is really shining through.
