Clean, safe and convenient! Stayed here at the end of March for 3 nights for a little spring break trip with my husband. Great location in walking distance of transit and things to see/do. Loved that there were options for food and grabbed a tasty croissant from the bodega one morning but never got the chance to try the Diner. Kind and helpful staff all around. Our room was very small but very clean and efficiently laid out with places to squirrel away our bags. Loved that there was a minifridge and the free water was nice! The bed was stiff as heck so that was not an enjoyable night sleep but cant complain otherwise. The room was also shockingly very quiet! No street noise nor sounds from other guests!! Shower water pressure was fab too. Ideal for single or couple travelers/shorter stays based on the size and firm ass bed.

I stayed here for three nights. Location was perfect for my stay, walkable to many attractions and Penn station. The service was great, the hotel upgraded our room at no extra cost and was responsive to our requests. The room was very clean and the size was fine for two people. We had drinks at the bar a couple times during our stay and there’s a $15 daily credit that applies to the bar. The roof has a nice view, with a rooftop bar that’s open during the summer.

The Arlo Hotel is ideal for friends who don't mind staying in a charmingly tiny room. The hotel clearly advertises itself as a micro-hotel, and that is exactly what you can expect. The rooms are quite small, to the extent that the bathroom sink is located in the corridor. However, the modern aesthetics and vibrant atmosphere earn a solid 10/10. The staff at the reception are excellent and even brought our luggage to our room before we arrived. You receive a $15 voucher, which is somewhat useless since it can only be used at their restaurant for dinner, where the service leaves much to be desired. The location is decent, but the street can feel sketchy at night. Overall, it's a great place to stay with friends.

Loved this hotel and I’m so glad we chose it for our trip to NYC. The staff is what makes this hotel beyond stellar. Every person we interacted with was so welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately didn’t take many pics of the hotel but our room was spotless and we loved the vibe in the lobby and diner. Valet parking made arriving and departing a breeze and staff offered to hold our luggage while our room was being prepared so we could start exploring. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing hotel in Midtown Manhattan. The service is great and the food is delicious. The rooms are small, with the sink being in the room. The common areas like the restaurant and the working studio look really good. The food is insanely good. I especially recommend their buttermilk pancakes for breakfast. Being a European visiting America for the first time, I expected the pancakes to be extra sweet, but they were not (which I really enjoyed) and you can add syrup on top to add some sweetness. I'm also a fan of their quesadillas from the dinner menu. Unfortunately, there is no tea or coffee or kettle in the room. But the selection of tees in the restaurant was impressive. The coffee was good (which is surprising, I don't think I ever had coffee this good in a hotel). The roof top opens up a breathtaking view on midtown Manhattan and the Empire State Building. What I would like to be improved in the room is the roller window blinds. Mine was kind of cut on the sides, which looked untidy. And it was fully white, so when you roll it down, it looks like another wall. Would be so much more pleasant if it was the drapes or at least some other color/pattern. Also, there's a smell in a hotel that is kind of a combination of smells from the kitchen, cleaning products, and the hotel maybe being older. I would appreciate a little more light in the restaurant in the morning. The lights are a bit too dim and there are no windows in the restaurant. They do offer some nice perks like Citybike promo codes and $15 dinner credit. Overall, my experience there was really good. It was inexpensive as for the location, and there are packages that include breakfast, which is nice. I highly recommend it.
