Had a very beautiful time there. I’ve read a lot of evaluations that said the rooms are old and not up to date - I can definitely not confirm this! Great, chic rooms (some drawers are maybe a little bit loose but it’s okay) with an huge TV. But the highlight is definitely the breathtaking view. The staff is very courteous and kind, no matter what your concern is. Also the location of the hotel in NYC is practical.
All in all I can definitely recommend this hotel!

First of all: the location and the view are great. This hotel is right on a very memorable place and only a few minutes away from the Brooklyn Bridge, the ferries and Wall Street. The subway is also just around the corner and in the evening it is less busy than further north in Manhattan.
Unfortunately, the rooms are very run-down and some of the furnishings, such as the mirror, were broken. The staff is helpful, but a bit from the top down. The room rate and the deposit alone of several (!) hundred dollars was surprisingly high, which is perhaps common in the financial district.

I would agree with other reviews, the rooms are very dated. The amenities and level of furnishings are typical of hotel rooms from 25 years ago. Worn furniture and carpets. The views however were fantastic and I couldn’t fault any of the staff for friendliness and being helpful. We were advised that rooms are being updated currently which is positive!

Rooms not ready at 6pm, had to wait for 2,5 hours before we could get the room. No compensation was offered, only after asking we could get a complimentary drink, very bad price/quality. The place is in dyer need of renovation, very run down hotel, not worth the price. The view was good..

Location, location, location. This was our third trip to NYC-. So far, this has been the best location we've stayed in...by far. You're surrounded by subway stations, restaurants, shopping, etc. Super convenient, and while the area is busy it's not as hectic as other parts of Manhattan.
The room was just...OK. It was really more like 2.5 stars. Furniture is dated and worn. We had 2 TV's but only one remote. The carpeting was dated and worn. The beds were comfy, but sheets were...dated and worn. The restroom was fine, but...dated and worn. We booked a corner suite with a nice layout and an amazing view of One World Trade Center. The lobby was nice, and staff was welcoming. The air freshener in the lobby smells nice, but after a couple of days it does become a bit overbearing. Front desk staff was awesome...super helpful, courteous, and nice. Elevators left something to be desired. Only 2 of the 4 seemed to be working, and the 2 that did work were a bit shaky and jarring.
Overall, we'd probably stay there again...mostly due to the location. It really is super convenient.
