The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Other than that, expect to get extremely rude service, delays to your room being ready, as well as them trying to give you a smaller cheaper room despite the fact you booked and pre paid for a larger suite, and when told that they refused to believe it and said it’s the same room until I had to take physical measurements and show them. Only then did someone from “guest services” give us the right room and barely apologize.
The front desk staff members for the most part are fine. There’s a gentleman in particular who gave racial comments at check out to me in front of my daughter, my son, as well as my wife. When I asked him for his name so I can make a complaint to his manager, he said he wouldn’t give me his name, and refused to get his manager saying all managers were in a building wide meeting. If I didn’t have a flight to catch I would’ve stayed and indeed escalated internally with the managers.
This hotel ruined what was originally planned as a family trip. While every hotel as it’s ups and downs, this hotel had one up only which was its location. There are far far far better hotels within a 3 block radius including a lovely boutique hotel with more amenities, better rooms, and lovely friendly staff. How someone can be racist in New York City of all places is beyond me. I truly hope no one else experiences it on their vacation.

Location was convenient to walk to Broadway for a show and to visit Central Park. Beautiful hotel lobby with cafe. The downside is that the room we had looked like the bathroom door was warped at the bottom, possibly from water and there was an issue with the toilet not flushing (which they promptly fixed - whew!). I think the shower/bathrooms could use an update, but overall a great value - very clean and great location. Would stay there again!

Location is the star feature of the hotel. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable. Elevators are a challenge to overcome, Room AC/Heat was sub par and to fix the problem the staff brought us a fan, had to request a remote control as there wasn't one in the room, and only had two bath towels even though our reservation was for 4 people. Don't expect a 4 star hotel- however, it is clean and in a great location.

We stayed here at the beginning of July with our family of five. We had reserved two rooms for seven nights. Upon arrival, we were welcomed into a fresh lobby, and the reception was smooth and friendly. Check-in went very smoothly; $500 was reserved per room on the credit card. At check-out, the resort fee was deducted, and the remaining amount was promptly released.
We were given two well-maintained rooms on the fifth floor, which turned out to be a blessing since only one elevator was working. The staff who cleaned our rooms did an excellent job. We received fresh towels daily, and the room was kept tidy.
A downside was the very noisy air conditioning, which continued to blow loudly even after being turned off. Earplugs are not a luxury.
The location is excellent and perfect as a base for exploring NYC. The hotel is easily accessible via the subway, and there is a wide selection of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. However, the hotel itself is very large, which can make the lobby extremely busy at times.
I can definitely recommend this hotel and hope that the issue with the elevators is resolved soon, as it attracts unnecessary criticism.

Just stayed at the Park Central for almost two weeks and had an amazing experience! The service was fantastic, the rooms were extremely clean, and the bar area was amazing! The hotel was in a perfect location close to Central Park, time square, and the theater district. Couldn’t have asked for a better location on top of the fantastic staff that made the experience all the better. Also great live music in the hotel bar, plus great restaurants and bars around the corner and across the street.
If I can give the hotel and staff more then 5 stars I would!!! Definitely will be back soon!!!
