I traveled here in October 2024 and it was firmly a 4/5 experience. We paid for a family suite and got upgraded to a private garden suite which was appreciated. Unfortunately the room was dirty and smelled very musty because the bathroom did not have any ventilation. There was also broken furniture which we had to seal off to prevent injury to our baby. This unfortunately did not feel like a 5* hotel. The room itself was probably a 3/5 at most. The buffet was the star of the trip. The staff were amazing; so kind and patient with our baby who was still in her food dropping and throwing phase. They kept everything very clean and tidy. The food was also incredible and super delicious, to the point where we didn't feel the need to try the a la carte restaurants. The service from the other hotel staff were generally good as well. The towel service was a bit odd as they had designated open times to exchange your towels but sometimes they weren't open at those times or ran out of clean towels. We enjoyed the pools a lot. There were always pool chairs available and lots of space for kids to run around as there were so many pool options.

Myself and my family travelled to Iberostar in September to celebrate my husband's birthday we were looking forward to a 'dream' holiday, but unfortunately it turned into a food poisoning nightmare. On the 4th night, 2 hours after eating at the buffet restaurant Mistral my husband’s was hit with extreme pain was becoming more and more intense to the point that he couldn’t physically walk. Shortly after he was projectile vomiting, followed by extreme diarrhoea and wind. All throughout the night, he was sick aswell as diarrhoea and his temperature soared. At one point he collapsed in the bathroom, from severe exhaustion and I imagine dehydration. We reported the food poisoning to reception, however the reception staff were really quite rude and declared that ‘it only had a virus’ and commented that ‘he had been sick the day before’. Of course they didn't want to take responsibility of his illness. They also, failed to tell us there was an onsite doctors. Luckily I discovered it the following day whilst walking around the hotel. So he managed to get some pain relief and treatment for the food poisoning. Unfortunately my husband was sick for the remaining trip, we had to separate as we feared that it would spread to the rest of the family and other guests. As you can imagine we were soo upset to have to spend our family holiday separately, my little girl was devastated to be away from your daddy. For the rest of the holiday, my husband lived off nibbles of bread and water as he was too ill to tolerate anything else aswell as the concerned of getting poorly again from the food served. Myself and my daughter tried to carry on with our holiday the best we could. But It is safe to say the experience ruined our holiday. I was of course more cautious whilst eating in the restaurants and I noticed that food often had flies on it. I witnessed many, many times staff pouring fresh hot food onto cold food (instead of clearing the old food off the dishes and replacing it with new) the staff that cleaned the table wasn’t using anti-bac spray they were merely wiping the tables with dirty clothes. Food that was put out, was barely kept warm more than often it was cold. There were endless opportunities for bacterial growth at the buffet restaurant. This is a 4-star hotel, without 4-star hygiene standards. I spoke to many different families whilst on the holiday and many of them too had suffered from food poisoning from the hotel. On two evenings at the hotel's night entertainment, two children on separate occasions were projectile vomiting. Please be incredibly cautious when eating at the hotel's facilities as the level of hygiene it not up to standard, I would hate for other guests to have their holiday ruined like unfortunately ours was. In addition, the hotel had a lingering smell of sewage, which was really off putting. It is such a shame as the hotel and location was beautiful, I really hope the hotel take all the food poisoning cases seriously and improve their hygiene practises.

4 star hotel with 5 star experience One of my best all inclusive holidays. We stayed in a family room that was very good sized and well considered for kids. All staff friendly and helpful. Spotless clean and well maintained inside and outside. entertainment well designed for both kids and adults, which kept us busy day n night. Tastey food and drinks, very good quality. We will be back and recommend to friends.

Absolutely amazing place! We just got back from our family trip. The only thing I'd say could be improved in the storage in the rooms. They are very pretty and clean, beds are very comfy but for 3 adults and a child there just isn't enough room. But that's my only minor complaint. The staff were very friendly from the start to finish, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is designed with children in mind right from the reception area with an amazing slide to the lower floor. There are plenty of places for children to play, lots of pools. The daily activities for the whole family are brilliant. I have never exercised on holiday so much like here! Even when it was just me they still ran the class for me with a smile and enthusiasm ! So this is my way of saying thank you to all the fitness staff there 🫶 Just as well because the food is to die for. So much choice and fresh food every day. The location so close to the beach is really handy as we could choose to just go for a swim in the sea or stay longer rather than decide on one location for the day. You can take a drink or a refreshment from the hotel straight to the beach. Clean beach towels every day. There is just everything you need for a lovely family holiday, quiet places, fun places, fun evening entertainment and it was just lovely to see all the little people having fun 😊 This was our first all inclusive holiday and I feel we'll find it hard to find another place as good as this. We better start saving now for next year🙏 We also loved the daily Iberostar song and dance routine, it's stuck in our heads now💃🕺

The hotel and rooms are perfect for families! Your children will love all the facilities. It was great to have the high quality Iberostar service with the buffet, but also to have the possibility to dine in the 4 different restaurants that are on the premises. The staff are the true soul of the hotel, they make all the difference! It was great to see Mario & Ayda looking after the kids again and to meet new amazing people like Adriana, Serena and the rest of the Kids Club staff. Ezequiel & Oscar provided first class service at the bar. Overall, I wish I knew the names of all the staff, cleaners, bar tenders, the amazing entertainment team, the waiters and cooks, you all provided a great service and an unforgettable holiday. Thank you all!
