Came on our honeymoon and this hotel was perfect. Location was fantastic with great views of the bay. Had the pool which was never crowded, the sea was great and had paddle boards if you wished.
The food was great and changed every day so never felt the need to eat elsewhere.
We were given option to upgrade and were so happy we didn’t. The service around the pool was fantastic, always someone walking past but not intrusive. We did all inclusive and had plenty of options.
Would highly recommend.

Such a beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious, super comfortable and the views are beautiful. The food is fantastic, huge variety and exceptional service. The staff are wonderful and really make this hotel perfect. They cannot do enough for you, and it makes for a truly perfect experience. Montse in the restaurant is so lovely and helpful and even helped me with my Spanish! We have visited twice and both times have been perfect! Thank you to everyone here for such a welcome and wonderful service, we will be back!

This is a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting.
Check in was rather long winded and not particularly welcoming after a long journey.
Our room was large and airy with a sofa, easy chair and super king bed. Wardrobe and free safe, coffee machine and small fridge. It had a bubble bath and washbasin right in the room, no privacy.
A balcony with a fabulous sea view - in fact everywhere in the hotel has views to die for.
The food was excellent for us but one of our group is vegetarian and found there was not much choice of main courses at dinner, plenty of vegetables but no real vegetarian mains.
The hotel is right on the seafront but not on a beach. The nearest beach is about a 20 minute walk. There is a rocky cove below the hotel where you can swim but getting down there is not for the faint hearted.
I had booked star prestige which included access to two extra pools one of which was heated.
All drinks and snacks are signed for and every single time they ask for a tip. American guests may be used to this but it's unusual in Europe. I am very happy to tip for good service
but not for every interaction with staff multiple times a day.
Unfortunately the resort of Santa Ponsa is not very nice and for that reason alone I wouldn’t return.

Very glad we decided to stay here for a week as the hotel ticks a lot of boxes - the staff are all lovely and made us feel welcome and valued from arrival and throughout. We asked to move rooms due to an obstructed view and it was resolved straight away without any issue. The pool area is excellent with gorgeous views, just make sure you get down at around 7.30am if you want to reserve a prime spot for sunbathing! Breakfast is vast and good quality; as was dinner at the buffet on the one night we ate there. Rooms are spacious and well-cleaned.
Location is good in that it’s quiet and private, however, Santa Ponsa is very touristy and boozy. Take the walk down to the main beach along the coast rather than on the roads as it’s a much nicer experience. Eat and drink on the roundabout where the bus and taxi stops are for the nicest atmosphere.

Our room was well kept and a comfortable size. Had to request a kettle to make a cu of tea. Fridge not working properly.
Best service from the bar staff, 3 amazing waiter's Jonathan, Albarn and Diego, where friendly, happy and helpful, nothing was to much trouble!!!! Always smiling.
Location perfect, short walk to small village, beach front and centre where there is lots of places to eat and drink.
Lots of things to keep you entertained.
