Exceptional Hospitality - Made my Wife’s Birthday truly special We’re currently staying at the hotel to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it has been a wonderful experience from the moment we arrived. A special mention and heartfelt thanks to Olga, who welcomed us with such warmth and genuine hospitality. She went above and beyond by upgrading us to a much higher category sea facing suite room, which made our celebration all the more memorable. The thoughtful room decorations added a beautiful personal touch - elegant, tasteful, and perfectly set the mood for the occasion. Every detail reflected care and attention, making my wife feel truly celebrated. It’s gestures like these that turn a stay into a cherished memory. Thank you to the entire team, and especially to Olga, for making this birthday one we’ll always remember!

Beautiful and massive property. Lots of activities for the kids. Staff is amazing. Joshua helped us since the very beginning and acknowledged all our requests. We had a truly wonderful stay at this resort—it’s easily one of the best we’ve experienced. The rooms, bathrooms, and balconies were all spacious, making our stay very comfortable and relaxing. The kids’ play area was a delight, filled with plenty of toys and daily activities that kept the little ones happily engaged. The resort also offers private beach access, complete with swings overlooking the sea and beach toys for guests to enjoy. The beach itself was spotless and absolutely beautiful. The buffet spread was impressive, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes to suit all tastes. We also loved the expansive garden area, which featured outdoor games and swings for children—a perfect space for families to unwind. Overall, the resort combines comfort, fun, and natural beauty, making it a fantastic choice for both relaxation and family time.

We went with family. Rooms are good and beach back to that is too good. We enjoyed the beach the lot. The whole area was good, it was raining and they maintained it well. Food was average and they were not able to handle the crowd in the morning breakfast. Few staff at restaurant were responding as if we are staying there for free. After paying so much for the stay, few of their staff attitude was not up to the standard. The bathrooms are too neat and good, I liked the way they designed it

A Beautiful Property Missing the Signature ITC Warmth As a family, we have a special tradition of celebrating Diwali in Goa. We visit twice a year, as our four-year-old daughter absolutely loves the beaches and the vibrant atmosphere. For this trip, we chose the ITC Grand Goa. For any luxurious stay, especially at an ITC property, we believe the soul of the experience comes from its people, service and its culinary experience. While the property itself is undeniably stunning with a gorgeous beach with direct access, we felt that other essential elements were not quite up to the high standards we've come to associate with the brand. Our experience felt impersonal from the start. The interactions with the staff, including at the reception, seemed more scripted and mechanical than we've experienced at other ITC hotels in Dharamshala, Bangalore, or Calcutta. That genuine warmth and proactive engagement that makes ITC hospitality feel so special was missing. It felt like we were interacting with a system of policies, not a team dedicated to guest delight. This inflexibility showed in a couple of key moments. We were celebrating our anniversary, and while we were grateful to eventually receive a room upgrade, it only happened after we pursued it. As an ITC Club member, we had hoped for a more proactive gesture of celebration, which has been our experience in the past for other occasions. Similarly, the hotel was not flexible with our half-board meal plan. We were unable to exchange a buffet meal for in-room dining to accommodate our daughter's nap schedule—a simple courtesy that has been extended to us without hesitation at other ITC locations. The food was another area that fell short of our expectations. The menu at the restaurants was quite repetitive, particularly for vegetarians, and the dishes seemed to lack the exceptional taste and soul that is a hallmark of ITC's culinary reputation. The in-room dining menu was also very limited, and we were surprised when the chef was unable to accommodate simple off-menu requests (e.g. Paneer Biryani or a Boondi Raita - absolute basic), which felt very unlike the guest-focused "we assure you" spirit of ITC. It's the small, thoughtful gestures that create lasting memories. For example, during a last year stay at a Marriott in Goa, the staff noticed our daughter loves watermelon and proactively sent it to our room, even taking the care to de-seed it for her. That level of personal care, which we've also felt at other ITC properties, is what we felt was missing here. There were ofcrse great points but limited - non F&B staff was great! (1) The biggest plus point for our daughter was the play area - they would definitely have one of India's best play area for kids to keep them engaged and warm staff who know how to keep kids engaged :) (2) Housekeeping staff was awesome! Mr Xavier and his team was spot on in helping with custom help around room enhancement!. Suman from Laundry was too good in his service, a class personalized care he took about our daughter's clothes by handwashing her clothes. (3) Spa was also great! Abinash was magical with his hands! We did share our feedback with the Duty Manager but didn't notice any changes during our stay. While the hotel is beautiful, the impersonal service and disappointing food left our experience feeling incomplete. We remain loyal to the ITC brand because of our many wonderful past stays, and we sincerely hope the management takes this feedback to heart to restore the warmth and soul to this otherwise lovely property.
