The hotel is so lovely! We were 4 persons (2 adults and 2 teenagers) staying in a Family suite and wow what a room! So spacious and modern and the huge balcony is amazing. Great with two king size beds so even the kids could sleep comfy. Always very nice cleaned too.
The pools are very good and since no one ever reserve sun beds there are always free sun beds whenever you need them during the day.
Food is excellent, great variety and very well cooked.
Location is perfect just one block from the beach and with lots of shops around and also easy to get a parking space.
I read that someone else said not to get a room with sea views because of the nosy road but the balcony door is soundproof so that is not a problem.

A really nice hotel, just a short walk from the beach! Really appreciated all the little touches like the rose petals which was a lovely surprise during honeymoon.
Didn’t get a chance to try all the facilities but the spa and pool looked nice and there were plenty of options to choose from for breakfast.

Las Gaviotas is a good value hotel right in the heart of Muro Beach.
The rooms are modern, clean and very comfortable. The restaurant is good with the widest choice of foods available. The pools are fantastic - a real highlight.
The only downside is the very difficult parking. There’s essentially zero reserved hotel parking so you have to duke it out with beachgoers and find street parking. This isn’t the hotel’s fault, but it can be very tricky so worth noting.

The suite room on the fifth floor was very spacious and had a wonderful view from the terrace, and the breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety, but I was concerned about the musty smell around the toilet. I would have been happier if the room had amenities such as slippers, toothbrushes and skincare.

Where do I begin.
First off, we found a cockroach in our bathroom. This is extremely disgusting and not acceptable for a four star hotel. We told reception and it was removed by the housekeeping but even then absolutely no apology or compensation was made to us for this. You pay 360€ a night for a basic hotel, the restaurant is like a school canteen with screaming kids everywhere (although the food is okay) the pool which is beautiful is ruined by all the screaming and jumping. No coffee or tea making machine in the rooms, no hair conditioner, nothing in the mini bar or room service available. Lobby bar is cold and unwelcoming, the pool bar closes at 6:30 and the restaurant is only open during the breakfast or dinner hours meaning that there is no common areas to sit and enjoy at all. The location feels trashy and we had police cars going past all night. I quite frankly can’t understand why this hotel has such good reviews and wouldn’t recommend anyone except families who wish to use the pools a stay as this seems to be the clientele of the hotel. Very disappointed
