Not sure why this hotel gets so many mixed reviews; we had a great time. The facility it’s beautiful. The food is really good. Most of the staff is really helpful, friendly, nice. Overall we had an amazing weekend and definitely would come back. Wilkin in the Atlantic restaurant made sure my aunt had a great birthday lunch.

Unique Beach Club is worth the upgrade. The service everyday was outstanding. They patiently listened as we attempted to speak Spanish with a smile.
The buffet and grill options are vast. Our favorite was the whole fried fish and grilled lobster.

It was important for me to edit this review and include the following people that gave the absolute best service, Jose Luis, Carolina Med and Marcela Unique. Daily Jose checked on us and our itinerary. He made sure we made the most of our Unique experience, booked reservations and guided us around the resort to onsite activities.
We had an emergency where we needed an outfit for a special occasion and Jose researched the best places and coordinated our trip with no surprises. He more than saves the day.
Carolina made sure our room was clean and refreshed with towels, chocolates, pillows all with a smile.

My family and I were absolutely delighted with our stay at Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort, Spa & Casino. From the moment we arrived, the service exceeded our expectations, with staff going above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The amenities were top-notch, offering a variety of activities and facilities that kept everyone entertained and relaxed throughout our stay. The entertainment was exceptional for both our child and my husband and me, providing fun and engaging options for all ages. The food was also outstanding, with a diverse selection of dishes that catered to all tastes, making every meal a memorable experience. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better vacation and will definitely return!

Location, views. Amenities were great! My family and I have been there twice and would have gone again however, service second time has worsened. Lets start with my first issue that has yet to be resolved. I booked a swim up (or so I thought) and turns out they didn’t have any rooms available and cancelled my booking unannounced to me because I didn’t see the email.I re-booked at a later date. Ultimately, I was charged for an additional day and have reached out numerous times via phone and email with no resolution. Every time I called they give me the same answer. The drinks at the bars are getting worst, quality is poor and peak hours are understaffed. Long wait times. The Dominican food is good however, the int food at the restaurants is below average. I think if they were more service oriented and improved the food & drink quality it would be a 5 star resort.

Kerry and Francisco were my favourite part of the trip. They got the crowd going and my son had a blast with them. The entertainment staff are very friendly and welcoming. This resort is very large and hard to navigate. The grounds are breathtaking and beautiful however, I found the service in the buffet and the bars to be extremely rude and slow. I would not return here for the price.
