It’s fine for a budget friendly vacation but it is in no way a 4 or 5 star stay nor should it have 4.5+ star review. The rooms are not maintained or clean. The water is not warm much less hot. And the food is edible at best. The common space like the lobby and pool are not even as nice as its sister properties. The “free minibar” is just water soda and beer. The bar staff is rude. And the rooms haven’t been updated since the 90s. I’m not sure if this is the standard for hotels in the DR since this is my first time here but I was very very disappointed. I literally cried when I found out that I couldn’t get even a partial refund. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I only gave it two stars because Ana at the desk was absolutely fantastic and the grounds are well kept.

solo female traveller. I have been here 5 days. Perfect amount of time. The entertainment in the lobby is amazing!!! Every night the bartenders and entertainment staff make you feel so welcome me and engage with you. The rooms are wonderful! I came to my room when they were doing service... They mop your floors!! Don't listen to the negative reviews. I will definatley be back! I'm not a world traveller or made of money. I work hard all year and treat myself. The price point on this hotel is very reasonable despite what some people say. Thank you princess for an amazing time!

As a person who has travelled lots of places, ate at hundreds of restaurants and stayed in many hotels motels resorts and Airbnbs…..I’ll will mention the pros first
- The beach is awesome. Tiki huts at the beach are the best!
-The ocean is amazing for swimming
-The pool is awesome
-The grounds are impeccable
-The buildings are nice
-The rooms are pretty good and clean
The cons
-The food is disgusting
-The buffet had things in it that are unrecognizable and often cold
-We got sick from the food and spoke to other guests who also got sick and had the same opinion of the food
-The sister resorts nearby have a little better food as well as good coffee and ice cream
-The service is terrible. Most workers are very rude with the exception of one or two. It seemed like we were bothering them most of the time. No expression,no smile. We had to ask for towels four times. The air conditioning quit. And we had to get our water turned back on twice. On two different occasions we had the maid walk in on us unannounced.
I love the location, the beach, pool and grounds. If the service and food were better this would be 5*

I am thoroughly enjoying my stay here in the Dominican Republic! The live entertainment at the resort has been phenomenal, and Jazmin has been absolutely amazing—so welcoming and hospitable. All the staff have been fantastic, and their exceptional service has truly made this experience unforgettable. I would definitely stay here again!
