Well worth the price! The food was abundant and had great choices. The service personnel were very helpful, courteous, and friendly. Entertainment was exceptional with the right flair in music. The room was just the right size with a spacious bathroom. Since it was an all-inclusive, bring plenty of dollar bills for gratuities. The beach front was kept clean and again with plenty of service personnel, and the water was just the right temperature, along with small waves to feel comfortable during the week in late March. All in all, my group of nine had a grand time and were sad to leave. I am looking forward to visiting the resort again. P.S. brush up in your spanish, it helps but not necessary.

Honestly disappointed especially being my first all inclusive experience. Our first night there we went to bed right away after our long flight. Woke up to realize our room was infested with mosquitoes me and my significant other were completely bitten from head to toe. Went to complain because it was completely unacceptable. They put us in a new room but had to wait till 4pm to do so and that they were going to fumigate the room while waiting. The room after that was ok.
Food there had lots of it but was just meh at the buffets. Order a burger from two different beach restaurants both burgers were raw and uneatable. The À la carte restaurants were also just meh at times the buffet were better especially the Italian restaurant our table was super disappointed especially with the Italian restaurant having the best reviews. They also have no drink menu so trying to see what their specialty drinks were from word of mouth from different bar tenders.
Beach and pools were awesome and only thing that I enjoyed out the trip. Beach was great for in the morning till lunch if it got very crowded we went back to a quieter pool in the afternoon.
Honestly not sure if I would go back to this resort was very let down but if you are going bring a shit ton of mosquito spray so you don’t get eaten alive like me and the girlfriend.

We just stayed here with young children and my parents. The negative reviews I read here leading up to this trip had me nervous. However, we had a wonderful stay. The food was excellent with numerous options. The grounds are lush, well maintained and the public spaces are clean. The beach and pools are beautiful. There are a few mosquitoes around the lobby area from 7-8pm, but otherwise they are not an issue. We live in Ontario, and they are NOTHING compared to summers at home. We stayed in building 27, which was renovated and spacious. We would return to this resort.

I went recently to Grand, and what i thought would be a wonderful vacation turned into an hellish nightmare. Our first room that was stayed in flooded in the bathroom. We informed hotel staff about the flooding, they just gave us extra towel & cleaned up some of the water and left. After 2 days, we were finally moved after informing staff multiple times. In our second room, AC didn’t work, the bathroom continued to flood, the fridge didn’t work(i have 600$ medication that has to be refrigerated) & wifi didn’t work. We informed staff again of the room and they sent someone who checked out the bathroom and said we just need to keep towels by the flooding, but it would be fine. We constantly tried to inform staff of the continuous flooding, and nothing was done until last 2 days of our trip. My medication went bad due to lack of refrigeration, and we finally were sent to another room that thankfully did not flood. Some staff were helpful in trying to resolve the problems, but others looked more annoyed that we kept asking for help when we experienced issues in our room. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. The only positive was a few nice bartenders and servers who tried to help us during our stay. In the end, we couldn’t get any compensation for all of the flooding we experienced in our stay & we’re charged additional money for wifi and other amenities we weren’t able to use during our stay.

We were very impressed with the resort right from the time of arrival. The staff at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. Our cleaner Yasmin always greeted us with a smile and friendly hello. The buffet at Bougainvillea had so many choices to pick from. Jose at the buffet made us feel very welcomed and special. We were treated very well by all the staff. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you to all the staff at Bahi Principe Grand Punta Cana.
