We absolutely loved our stay. The friendly staff and great amenities were the best part.
We made friends with two amazing bartenders - Carlos the king of the sports bar and Leo the king of the lobby bar! They were such nice people and provided excellent service! Always with a smile :)
Our room was cleaned daily and beds were very comfortable.
We enjoyed all of the restaurants and portions were filling.
I loved the layout of this resort, all open air and lots of cute wildlife.
We will definitely be recommending this resort to family & friends

One of the most incredible vacations we've ever been on. The staff are so kind and so accommodating - we couldn't ask for a better place to relax and celebrate a 70th birthday!
We had a whole group of friends come with us, which could have made seating a problem in most restaurants, but the staff were wonderful. Our favourite experience was at the Mexican Restaurant at the back of the Buffet - they were OUTSTANDING!!
We held a 70's theme birthday bash, and a Canada Day birthday bash and both parties were wonderful. The staff sang with us, they provided a birthday cake, and just made this whole vacation so memorable. Definitely would recommend Dreams!!

I stayed at this resort due to a wedding I was attending. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve traveled the world and hands down worst customer service, disgusting food, and more like a 2 star resort but with a 5 star price. The first night a/c didn’t work, sink wasn’t draining properly, my roommates sheets smelled like mildew, staff was rude, upgrade paid for was not provided, and honestly outright liars. Although they did respond to a/c promptly, when I voiced my complaint about the other room conditions to front desk they claimed they were going to send us a bottle of wine (although a bottle of wine was already supposed to be part of the upgrade and it’s an all-inclusive resort…) they never sent it. We went to front desk multiple times and when I eventually saw I was getting nowhere with front desk I emailed world of Hyatt directly. I received a response that they had resolved all our issues according to their system and I was provided a bottle of wine. That never happened, so staff are disturbingly entering into a system issues as resolved that are not, which means they are lying and committing fraud. I also paid for a preferred room for last night but was never given that room or access and when I requested I be refunded room difference, they said there was no difference. I cannot express enough how terrible this place was and how poor the customer service. Do yourself a favor to avoid disappointment and stay at the Moon Palace. This place was no better than a roadside motel with buffet breakfast included, the only redeeming quality was it’s tropical location which is no credit to resort itself just happens to be a beautiful location.

I was looking through the reviews of the place and I saw most were posted by adults, I thought it would be best to get a review from a teenager in case you have kids. Absolutely not worth it but let’s start from the beginning. When my family and I first arrived at the Cancun airport we were charged $633 because we brought an extra carton of cigarettes so everyone was already in a bad mood. When we got to the hotel the staff was super sweet and helpful but our room wasn’t even ready yet (we arrived at around 12:30 and it wouldn’t be ready until 3:00). The room was alright but could’ve been better. Later that night when we went to have dinner there was barely any restaurants open and some didn’t even allow kids or had a super strict dress code, The food was mediocre but the steaks were good! But the drinks were extremely watered down even the sodas. Also, Room service is a joke it takes 45 mins- 2 hours just to get chicken nuggets and a piece of cake and they messed up multiple times. Me and brother ordered cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, and 2 pieces of chocolate cake…we got carrot cake and 2 pepperoni pizzas 😬…I did celebrate my birthday during the trip and they do know how to celebrate! One of my favorite parts were the cats they were super friendly and sweet. For kids, there wasn’t much to do honestly but there was a kids club (13-17 yrs old only) and a couple of games near the lobby like ping pong or chess. If you’re staying in the 600s building be prepared to be RUNNING from moths the size of your palm and then walking home to a bunch of them surrounded your room doors. Honestly was not worth it at all, go to Florida😒.

We had the best time. The accommodations were great! The staff was really accommodating. Ask for Mardo in the buffet, great server. Ruth at the front desk was exceptional! All the food we had was really good. We will definitely return!
