My husband and I had an excellent stay here. We had never done an all inclusive resort before and this way exceeded our expectations. Roberto our concierge did an excellent job checking in with us and making us feel welcome and that we had what we needed. The activities were so much fun and abundant which we loved. Entertainment staff were all excellent and really helped enhance our experience! We especially enjoyed how friendly, fun and approachable Sebastian, David, Leo and Andres were. Thank you all! Also, we loved our catamaran trip with Carlos. The weather when we went wasn't the greatest for ocean sports but we were so grateful to be able to adventure out to a beautiful reef and felt very safe and secure despite the rough conditions.

The entire experience is amazing. From the comfortable rooms on any floor to all the events and services this place has to offer. Not all of the food is great everywhere, but the buffet is a HUGE plus. Breakfast has a lady that makes quesadillas and other items from scratch.
The service gives you a pampered and catered feeling that screams Secrets Resorts quality. They really do go above and beyond to ensure your stay is more than adequate. The speed of this amazing service is slightly slower. It honestly didn't bother me, possibly because it'd be impossible to have the staff provide us this quality of service at the drop of a hat. Please be understanding and relax at your vacation as they are really working hard for everyone.
Please stay away from the Unlimited Vacation Club. Not because it's a time-share, but because their treatment is pretty abysmal. Luckily, they aren't part of Secrets.
To recap, great food, amazing rooms, great service, and definitely recommended to come for any event or vacation!

Just spent an incredible week at Secrets Maroma Beach, and I can’t say enough good things! From the moment we arrived, every single staff member went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The front desk, bartenders, baristas, pool attendants, and dining staff were all so friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. The service was truly top-notch! We felt so welcome and well taken care of, and the entire experience was just perfect. A fantastic week in paradise. Everything was exceptional. Every single person we met made us feel welcomed and went above and beyond. Just a few special shout outs to Antonio in the World Cafe and Guillermo, our concierge. A very huge thank you to Sebastian in Entertainment. He is a prize and Secrets is lucky enough to have him. Rooms were very nice and the resort was overall very clean. The service was great and the beach was beautiful. The resort was smaller than expected but good for a short, quiet getaway. There is not much to do other than go to the beach so it’s good for relaxing, however you can book tours outside of the resort. I’m giving this place a 4 because of the poor quality food. While there are many options at the buffets and a couple of other nice restaurants, the food was overall disappointing. There’s hardly anything Mexican and the food is very catered to Americans. If the food were better, it would have been a better experience. Otherwise a beautiful resort.
