We had the absolute pleasure of being taken care of by Maximiliano Tun during lunch at Barceló Maya Palace, and he truly made our experience special. Maximiliano was so kind, attentive, and genuine — always making sure our drinks were full and that we had everything we needed. His warm smile and friendly energy made us feel so welcome. It’s rare to find someone who takes such pride in their service and goes above and beyond with such grace. Thank you, Maximiliano, for making our lunch so enjoyable — you’re a real gem and such a wonderful representative of the resort! 🌴✨

I have such mixed feelings about this hotel. The facilities are beautiful. The pools and beach are great, and we never had to hunt for pool chairs like at other AIs. Wifi is fast and free. The escape room is exceptional, with unique puzzles. The food at the specialty restaurants was very good. The buffet was fine. My two issues were with the room itself. There's no ventilation in the bathroom, and the room was always damp. Lastly, we found a roach in the bed last night. Needless to say, we didn't get a good night's sleep after that.

We absolutely love coming to Barceló! Everything is always so cozy, neat, and perfectly clean. We’ve been coming here for 10 years, and each year the service somehow gets even better! One of the highlights of our stay is enjoying the buffet, and we want to give special thanks to Saul Perez, Francisco (with big heart and smile), and Jose Arcos. These gentlemen work incredibly hard and go above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable every single day. They are not only professional, but also genuinely friendly and kind. Their dedication and warm personalities truly make our experience unforgettable. Thank you for everything — we can’t wait to come back again!

The room was good. Roxana was such a w goat. make her the manager cuz she was just so good. i did the thingy and my team were the scarmys. we clutched in 25 seconds left. anyways i love roxana cuz she was super super nice and awesome sauce. it was the escape room by the way, (roxana is the signnaaaaa)

Very disappointed with this resort. Food in the buffet is cold, not many International selection seems to just cater to local cuisine. Rooms are seriously outdated and stains on lamp shades and furniture. For what you are required to pay to stay here my advice choose somewhere else. Bathrooms are severely outdated and leaking. I have stay in Mexico several times in different places and I have to say this is the worst. Really trying to understand how people come here and give this palce a good rating, it’s less than mediocre.
