Thanks to Camila the guest experience manager for all her attention! We had an amazing stay. The bed was huge, the hotel very nice and we loved the food. It was great for a special holiday.
Also thanks to Laura, Victoria and Joaquin for the kind service!
Hope to come back next year!

Location is next to a German party area so was very noisy. We unfortunately saw two different men, urinating right outside our bedroom doors on two separate occasions which was intimidating for the children. Inside the rooms were clean and staff were friendly but this should not be advertised as a family hotel or more should be done to separate kids from hordes of young men partying. There were a couple of saftey issues too, two of our family have allergies and no allergies were labelled on the buffet which meant we had to keep finding people to ask (who were all very busy and didn't have time). Especially frustrating with some unusual menu combinations - vegetable rice had walnuts in as did sweet potato slices. Final safety issue was a ridge along the side of the pool, I tripped as did one of children and we saw 5 others do this during the stay. I mentioned all these items to the manager to try and help them address the issues and got no recognition of them and simply a 'sorry for the noise' comment. We have stayed in occidental before so had expected better. Noise and partying might have been made worse by time of year, we went in October.

This is our second time to the island and we wanted to try different location. We went half board which was breakfast and dinner. We got an apartment since we were traveling with 2 kids and needed kitchen to make baby food. We arrived around 9:15pm and the front desk told us to go eat before the buffet closed at 9:30. After checking in, we got thr apartment in the 4th building. It is decently sized for the 4 of us with the pull out couch. Kitchen has limited necessities to cook. We found cockroaches and ants all over the room. There were stains and gum on spare sheets and when asked for new ones from housekeeping we received a bad attitude. Food was mediocre and pretty much same items in morning. Dinner had some different items but after 4 days we got bored of the offerings. There weren't nightly entertainments for the kids. The entertainment for adults went on until late and we could hear it by our room. The hotel is about 10 minutes or less walk to the beach. We were disappointed and won't be back again.

Great location and fantastic service! The beach was a short 5 minute walk. Close proximity to the main boardwalk and night life as well. Transportation to downtown Palma was easy: the bus gets you there in a short 30 minute ride. This has been a most relaxing place to rest and visit the Palma region for a few days. Thank you again Barcelona!

Book for 3 nights and checked out the same night. I checked in horrible, says it's a 4 1/2 star hotel. It's more like a 2 star.
What they advertise is not what it is small rooms. Air conditioning doesn't work, just horrible. Wouldn't recommend to anybody and for the price they're charging per night. Absolutely not! Go spend your $300 a night somewhere anywhere but there. It says all-inclusive nothing of the sort, no entertainment like they said no snack bar totally misleading as advertised. The food is horrible and cold. It's mainly salads, just not up to paw for an all inclusive, it's more like a retirement home. Everybody that's was there was more on the older side. It's not a place to go unless you wanna feel like you're in a retirement home for the elderly. Be my guest, but the service and the food the whole experience it's definitely worth it! It's worth no more than $60 a night. it's very overrated, and quality all around is poor! Do yourself a favor and look at other places.v I learned you don't believe everything they show you pictures look amazing but weren't at all what it was.
