We booked this hotel through Booking.com, where it was listed as a 5-star, but after arriving, I checked Google Maps and saw it was rated 4 stars—and honestly, that feels more accurate. The staff were absolutely amazing, every single one of them, and they truly made the experience better. We booked a room with a private pool, and while it was nice, the details let it down. Small things like the floor finishes and the bathroom just showed a lack of care, which took away from the luxury feel. Hotels are always a personal experience—what works for one person might not for another—but for me, the room simply didn’t meet 5-star expectations. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. The beach is just a 2-minute walk away, and it has everything you need—toilets, food, sunbeds, umbrellas, jet skis, and massages (bring cash!). Again, the staff were incredible, but in my opinion, this is not a true 5-star hotel.

Originally booked in for 2 nights but extended to 9 as was really impressed by the hotel and it's location. But most of all the staff are just incredible - always friendly, always smiling and a pleasure to be around. All were amazing but particularly Nim and Ashlee were superstars, but also a mention to Matt, Mariam, Juice and Beam. Location is great opposite a nice beach and lots of places walking distance without being too busy. Only improvements were the room is missing a couple of amenities like a full length room (they were happy to provide one) and a small sofa or armchair/foot rest. Also wasn't aware until seeing ourselves about activities like yoga - not sure if we were to be told about this at check in We will definitely be back!

Very good value for money. It’s one the best hotel experience we had for that price range in Thailand. All staff was really nice. Pool cleaned daily, w very nice lightening in the evening. Activities daily included : yoga, fitness/muay Thai by the beach or at hotel. Very romantic place to stay at for a few days for couple.

The service here is exceptional - all staff are very friendly and can’t do more to help you. However, we were disappointed with our room in OUTRIGGER given all the good reviews and our expectations based on room descriptions. There is clearly an issue of style over substance with this hotel. Our room looked nice on the surface, but there are issues which meant we slept really badly each night. There was very little sound proofing meaning we could hear everything in the hotel and the neighbouring hotel’s air conditioning unit all night. Only one of the windows is fitted with a black out blind, the other two have slatted Venetian blinds meaning that the light that illuminated the hotel at night (which we couldn’t turn off) streamed into our room all night. The air conditioning is outdated, noisy and didn’t keep the room at a constant temperature at night. All of these things meant that we couldn’t sleep and, unfortunately, can’t be fixed by the hotel staff as they are inherent issues with design / build. The hotel bar / restaurant looks lovely (and breakfast was good) but in the evenings it’s not air conditioned meaning that sitting there for any length of time is hot and sweaty in the evening heat. The hotel itself is a short walk from Surin beach (which is a lovely beach although has lots of sun beds/umbrellas), but this is through a car park / building site. Again, not something the hotel can influence but worth noting for your stay. We travelled Thailand for 2 weeks and this was our most expensive hotel stay and possibly the worst experience, so really not value for money.

Lovely staff first of all, everyone is just there for you, and remember your coffee too after a couple of days + make sure you eat if you train too much, they are just there to ensure excellent stay. Room is cozy, and spacious. Automated controls of lights and fans, all you need is there. Also next to beach, can’t go wrong!
