### Overbooked, Moldy Rooms, and Poor Service – Avoid This Hotel ### Disappointing Stay at OZ Hotel Incekum – Not as Advertised #Check-in Experience We arrived late at night, around midnight, and were told at reception that the hotel was overbooked and no rooms were available, even though we had reserved and paid in advance for a superior double room (as shown in their pictures). After insisting, especially since we were traveling with a small child, they eventually offered us a room in an annex building at the edge of the property. Unfortunately, this room looked nothing like the advertised ones — it had wooden floors, a strong moldy smell, and overall felt completely different from what we booked. We refused to stay there and returned to reception. The staff member on duty seemed annoyed at being disturbed and said we had to wait for the manager. After several requests and even giving a tip, the manager finally agreed to arrange another room, but we had to wait another hour for it to be cleaned. #Room Conditions By 1:00 AM we were given a room on the ground floor/basement level, centrally located in the complex. While closer to the style advertised online, the room was still heavily worn, with outdated finishes, poor ventilation, and visible mold in the bathroom. The cleaning was superficial, and despite asking for a deeper cleaning, we were told the housekeeping staff was gone for the night. The next day the cleaning was improved slightly, but traces of dampness, broken items, and musty smells remained throughout our stay. The bed was uncomfortable, old, and lumpy; the pillows were worn and retained heat. We requested replacements but none were available. Air conditioning was poorly positioned directly above the bed, making it impossible to use at night. Under the bed, we found dust, spider webs, and general dirt, which had clearly not been addressed in a long time. Mosquito screens were not properly sealed, so insects often got inside. On top of that, the noise isolation was very poor, making the nights quite restless. # Food & Restaurant The food was repetitive and of average quality, far from the standard expected for this category of hotel. The restaurant itself was extremely hot, with only a small area offering air conditioning — the rest of the space was uncomfortable to dine in. Service was inconsistent; waiters often expected tips in order to serve you, and even when given, this “favor” did not carry over to the next meal. #Beach & Facilities The beach area was small, crowded, and poorly arranged, with sunbeds placed directly next to one another, leaving no sense of privacy or comfort. The overall hotel environment appeared unkempt and not well maintained. # Positive Aspects On a brighter note, the snack bars and the café "Chez Lavinia" were pleasant, with friendly staff and better service compared to the main restaurant. We found ourselves spending more time there as it felt more relaxed and welcoming. #Overall Impression Despite a few positive points, our experience at OZ Hotel Incekum was overwhelmingly disappointing. The issues with overbooking, the poor state of the rooms, lack of cleanliness, uncomfortable sleeping conditions, repetitive food, and generally neglected facilities overshadowed our holiday. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel, especially for families traveling with children or anyone expecting a comfortable and relaxing stay.

I want to recommend this hotel. Unbeatable value for money. The hotel does a honest effort to make your stay memorable. Lot of extras. Generous evening programs. Wonderful food. Great staff. We will come back.

A truly amazing vacation filled with beautiful moments and even more beautiful people! From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed at the reception by Kaya. Ahmet helped us with our luggage and kindly explained everything we needed to know. As the days went by, we got to connect with the staff, and each one left a special impression. Diyar at the restaurant was always smiling and helpful. Merve at the café made the best Turkish coffee every day — such a treat! Muslim at the pool bar was a true cocktail master, and Hamza brought great vibes to the bar every night. There was plenty of food and drinks, different entertainment every evening, and the beaches were clean and perfect for relaxing. An unforgettable holiday — we’ll definitely be back!

Never has this hotel 5 star standards. Small and old rooms, service level poor and limited, hotel management not professional, pool water was boiling hot, food variety was limited, broken machine in the gym, sharp rocks in the water make the ocean entry dangerous, 12 hour electric power failure is not acceptable. Animation and events were good.

Recently returned from the hotel. Stay was pleasant but the hotel is not 5 stars. The pool are is fantastic plenty of room around the pool and the lifeguards are very helpful especially when helping the children at the bottom of the slides. Swim up bar is a great addition however if beer was served there it would be better than just cocktails. But that's me being picky. Beach is very good! few rocks as you get in the water but that can't be helped and avoidable once you see them. Platform for jumping into sea is a great touch. Beach is private so it's not overly busy and only hotel guests. Food was good! Breakfast is varied with some beautiful pastries on offer and traditional Turkish breakfast. X2 snack bars for dinner serves pizzas and pastas, the other chicken Doner and burgers. Very tasty. Main restaurant for dinner and tea does get similar inside. But evening they have the BBQ section which is great and fresh. Good choice of meats and fish. Different themes on certain nights. Nice touch. Puddings were good to. Did get a little repepative but expected after 7 days. The problems. The rooms had a mini fridge and safe which were free! Air con worked very well. We booked a standard family room which advertised x4. 2 adults and 2 children. We got to our room at 01.00 there was a double bed and a single. The bell boy said he would arrange another bed to be bought up. What came up was a very thin mattress topper roughly 3cm thick by 100cm long and a sheet. That was it. I wasn't expecting my son to sleep on the floor so the next day my wife went to reception at ask if there was anything they could do. NO was the response, they said it says when you booked the room what was in it. She said it says x4 people it sleeps and it clearly doesn't. They said take it up with love holidays. So very poor from the reception team. Rooms were not that clean lots of dust under beds and on the floor. In 10 days bedding was changed twice. This is not 5 star at all. Some days the rooms wasn't even cleaned. It seemed that cleaning meant to make beds and make a swan out of a towel. Not expected from a 5star at all. If you want to go into the nearest town asvallar, there is a taxi rank outside the hotel and unfortunately they charge £15 to go 5 mins down the road. This isn't the hotels fault at all and they did tell us there was a bus for €1 which stops outside the hotel. The taxi drivers friend is then waiting for you in the town to take you straight to his shop and his friends restaurant and he won't let you walk away. And they will collect you for free if you spend money in the shops which we didn't. Definitely book trips outside the hotel as you get much more for your money and always barter the price down. The pool bar area is good, some staff are friendly some not so much. Gets very busy at night and can be queuing for 15 mins to get a drink. The other bar is in the reception so there isn't many places to get a drink in the evening. Overall the hotel has some good parts and equally some disappointing parts. Id be happy to give it a high 3/low 4star hotel.
