Good Name
The casino is clean. I haven't experienced a clean casino in a long time. All the big names have dropped in prestige. I love that this casino is small and intimate. Everyone is happy to be here. All interaction with employees has been great. The pools were nice. I keep coming back and no bed bugs!

Was not impressed by my first stay at the Palms for a private event being hosted at the hotel. Being off-strip, I expected more convenience at a lower price, but that’s not what the Palms offers. The room was all flash and no substance. Despite being spacious, clean, and well-appointed, the room was not comfortable. The beds were horribly soft and low to the ground. Refrigerator was useless-crammed full of junk they’re trying to sell you. No microwave. A/C did not cool down quickly despite being on the north side of the tower (I hate to imagine how hot it is in south-facing rooms). There was not a single hook to hang a wet towel. Minimal number of towels provided. There were no drawers in which to put clothes. The closet was small and not useful. Bathroom sink did not drain properly. The casino floor is crowded and seems to be popular with locals but did not feel particularly clean. Overall, it feels like a gimmicky place looking to squeeze every penny out of their overnight guests. For that experience and for the prices they’re charging, I’d rather stay on the strip.

I was pleasantly surprised when I stayed for the first time at Palms Casino Resort. The Ivory Suite was 1,000 sq ft with living room, bar, bedroom and bath overlooking the strip area through several windows. The room was immaculate, and I'm very picky! Comforting, relaxing and great hotel staff with FREE valet or self parking. I highly recommend The Palms! The dinner buffet was delicious also.

Last year I stayed at the Sahara, This past September I stayed at the Palms. The Palms blows the Sahara out of the water in every way. I loved their security, the room I got was a corner room with one room overlooking the pool and the other tower along with seeing the rest of Vegas in the distance.
I am still trying to understand the shark though.
It was far more comfortable, and had better views. I didn't get to try as much as I would have liked because the really good places like their sky bar thing at the top of the building was super busy. The Palms will be where I stay again if I ever can afford to Visit Vegas again.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, great food with good pricing. They have a variety of slots and a beautiful seasonal pool with a wide array of spa services. They have celebrities at the smaller theater and a GHOST BAR on the rooftop.
