We stayed for a week and overall had a mixed experience. While the hotel has some great family-friendly features, there were a few things that let it down. Cleanliness could have been better — we found a slice of lime under the bed when checking out, which clearly wasn’t from us and must have been left by a previous guest. This place is ideal for families with children aged 3–10. If you have different aged children then would find elsewhere. There’s a good soft play area, free ice cream between 3–4pm, and live music in the evenings, although the restaurant itself felt very quiet and lacked atmosphere. Breakfast was nice and had a decent variety. However, while the hotel markets itself as family-oriented, some design aspects aren't very practical for those with young kids. There were no ramps, making it tricky to navigate with prams, and the rooms lacked storage. Also, the bathroom only had a shower, which was inconvenient when traveling with small children who need baths. Could hear screaming at night for our last 2 nights and a cleaner knocked at our door at midnight and let himself in while we were asleep! Overall, a good option if you have kids in the right age range, but there’s room for improvement in cleanliness, accessibility, and practicality.

Update: Booked our 5 night stay via brand website. Booked 2 rooms for 4 Adults. We have a total of 3 Adults and 2 Children 12yo and 7yo. According to their Child policy, 1st child (11yo and below) should be included in room rate. However, as we booked for 4 Adults (2 rooms), we were being charged for our 7yo child because my they consider my 12yo as the 1st child. Even when we told them they overcharged us, they insisted that it was right to charge us as there was a 2nd child. Asked for clarity from Reservation, however only FO was trying her best to clarify and assist on behalf. Asked for Management (GM, HM, EAM and DOSM) to follow up and again, unfortunately no follow up as we're checking out. Eventually, FO agreed to return the charge. As such, this is still a great family friendly 5 star hotel. Ground staff were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We would definitely return but have to take note of their wording and pricing in their T&C. Lastly, K Da Aem at the pool bar was excellent. She was attentive and prompt!

When we checked in it was quite late and my family was taken aback from the lack of welcome. From the resorts Instagram we were expecting smiles and hellos. But was greeted by very blunt staff. When entering the room the first thing you notice is a bad smell and small size of room. As well as located next to a swamp and no bath tub which was disappointing. There was a stain on the sheets. The next day turned things around as the day staff are friendlier. The pool is good enough, the playroom excellent for small kids. The breakfast buffet is nice enough (check each item as the pork sausages were raw on the inside). I think it’s a good enough 3 star resort but no where near 5 star. I wouldn’t come back as it’s quite expensive

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights! The hotel is very kid-friendly with a kids' club that offers various fun activities for children. The kids' pool is also a lot of fun! The hotel's location is very strategic in Karon City, close to a food court that serves fresh seafood. There's also a 7-11, massage parlor, and various local restaurants nearby. Access to the beach is also very easy, just a short walk across from the hotel. The breakfast spread is very diverse and delicious, especially the Beef Pho which is a must-try! The kids' menu is also very varied and tasty. The hotel's cleanliness, especially the room, is very well-maintained. I love the small details in the room, such as the small bed in the corner that faces the pool, and the balcony which is perfect for relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel for families who want a fun and comfortable vacation!" 🌴🏨👍

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Phuket Emerald Resort! It’s one of the best family-friendly resorts we’ve ever been to. The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help — they made everything super easy for us, especially while traveling with kids. The pools are amazing — clean, spacious, and perfect for both kids and adults to enjoy. The water slides are fantastic — our kids absolutely loved them and spent hours having fun! A special mention to Simon, one of the managers, who was extremely helpful and made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable in every way. Highly recommend this resort to any family visiting Phuket — it’s relaxing, fun, and truly made for a perfect vacation! 🌴💦✨
