A wonderful stay in Merlin Beach again! Service is always on point in the restaurants and bars, everything is clean and there are plenty of fun activities to do on a romantic getaway. Teddy gave us fast service in the pool area and young gentleman, who is part of the cleaning staff, also helped us to get service to our seats and was also very polite & proactive. I feel that the management team does a good job here and employees are working together as a team, actively teaching each other, genuinely trying to add value and really making customer feel welcome. Just like a year before, Mook and her colleagues were smiling, efficient and providing exceptional service, which really stands out. Food is also very delicious, no matter which restaurant you choose. Overall, I would say that if the arrival experience would improve to be faster, this would be 100/100. We will return again for sure - great experience 🙏

Our favourite hotel in all our stay in Thailand! It had everything we needed, it was perfect for a relaxing day at the pool and private beach which was beautiful! The sea is a bit rocky and becomes quite shallow around 15:00, it’s still possible to go in but more for chilling and not swimming. Breakfast was very good! The staff were very lovely! Coconuts by the pool were delicious 😋 The happy hour by the beach bar was great and generous! The gym was new and nice! The disadvantage is that there aren’t shops nearby but when you want to get a bolt/grab to the patong area it will only cost you between 200-250 baht and it will arrive very quickly!

We had the best time on our holiday at the Marriott Resort & Spa Merlin Beach! The staff went above and beyond, every day, morning, noon & night to ensure our holiday was impeccable. The service was 11/10 and it was noticeable how happy, kind and considerate all the staff were. There were plenty of restaurants within the venue to dine at, each providing delicious food. The three pools were all well maintained and there were plenty of day beds that you were able to have your own space apart from other guests. We have already recommended this venue to our family & friends and will definitely come back here! Big shout out to our favourite staff members: Filmmy, Prae, Patt, Fluke & Nadoar!

From the moment we discovered the Egyptian-themed underwater tunnel connecting the pools, this place captured our hearts. The little one spent hours at the open playground and Kids Club doing sand art and Thai games, while the older one loved exploring three completely different pool areas - especially the family pool with its waterslide. Watching sunset at The Rum Shack beach bar became our nightly ritual, and the butterfly sanctuary tour was genuinely educational and beautiful. The themed dinner buffets kept things exciting each evening, and there's something wonderful about grabbing Starbucks coffee and ice cream at the corner whenever we wanted. The snorkeling was incredible once we figured out the high tide timing. Yes, the beach is rocky, but honestly that's what makes the snorkeling so special. We left with full hearts and already planning our return.
