We have enjoyed our stay. All staff are helpful and accommodating. I find Ate Mary Jean so sweet in finding a room with sea view since it is our first time and even gave us a better room and longer time of stay for us to enjoy our stay to the fullest as a way also of compensating us since we waited a little. Housekeeping is also good. Food are appetizing. Overall, our stay was memorable and my mom enjoyed her birthday at Queen Elizabeth 2 Hotel today. ☺️

The hotel is a lovely historic gem, but its location is a bit isolated with limited transport options, so we found ourselves relying on taxis frequently. The hotel itself is immaculate and steeped in history. It’s definitely worth a thorough walk-around to appreciate the QE2’s heritage. Unfortunately, our attempt to join the heritage tour was thwarted by a last-minute confirmation email, received just 20 minutes before the tour started, so we had already made other plans by then.
On our first night, we opted for room service and the food was delightful, with the BBQ chicken wings being a standout. The rooms are quite spacious and the bed was very comfortable, though the pillows were a tad too soft for our liking. The décor beautifully blends the vessel’s historical charm with a few modern touches. There’s also a TV with a wide variety of channels. The bathroom, considering it’s an ex-cruise ship, was clean and reasonably sized.
Overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay from a historical perspective and is very reasonably priced. If you don’t mind the secluded location and the lack of an outdoor pool, this hotel is an excellent choice.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the staff were incredibly attentive and professional throughout my visit. I would like to give a special thank to Mary Jean at the reception for her outstanding service. She was extremely helpful and professional, making my stay even more pleasant. I look forward to visiting again

Located at Port Rashid, this is a unique place to stay at in Dubai.
The famous cruise ship has been permanently docked in Dubai since 2008 and has been open as a hotel since 2018.
It has a gym and a small pool, three restaurants (two are not open to children), a few libraries, a small shop and so on. All around is beautiful art, paintings, models of ships and other memorabilia. It was fun to explore the ship and imagine how it was when it was sailing across the seven seas.
They offer a historic tour of the ship every morning at 11am, which is very helpful.
Room service is quick and pleasant.
Breakfast is a buffet, which is more generous on the weekend than during the week. Sometimes, I missed the smoked salmon but made up for it with some local dishes. Breakfast caters to European as well as Asian (middle and far) tastes.
What I especially like is that the restaurant is open non-stop, it is not closed between standard lunch and dinner times, which truly helps if you are a bit jet lagged or had a late night out.
The only thing is that Port Rashid is not quite close to the center, and the traffic takes a while to get anywhere (the first 3 km take about 13-15 minute in a taxi).

Stayed 2 nights with friends. Room was a captain balcony on a "romance package". It included breakfast and dinner at Lido. We had a great experience with service and staff. Great time all around and loved the opportunity to experience the history of this legendary ship.
