After a very warm welcome and being shown to our recently refurbished and very well appointed cabin we explored the ship. It takes time to accept you are in a hotel that was a cruise liner as there are a lot of unused areas and the buzz of a cruise ship is not there. Then you slow down and accept it is a hotel and treat it as one and it all makes sense.
There is a lot of history on the ship and you need to dig around to find it all. I don't think in 3 days we did find everything.
The facilities that are refurbished are excellent. The breakfast restaurant is superb with great views and very good food. The ships bar is well serviced albeit a little expensive. Happy hour 4 - 8 pm makes it a little more palatable.
Unfortunately there are a lot of signs of neglect in some areas, particularly on the open decks where a coat of varnish wouldn't go amiss but overall the experience was very good.
It's a bit out of town but a 15 minute walk gets you to the river with some great open Restaurants with very reasonable prices and if adventurous you can take the metro, trams and buses all over the city for about £4.50 a day.
A worthwhile experience.

I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the receptionist who assisted us during our check-in (Ms. Mary Jean) at Queen Elizabeth in Dubai. From the moment we arrived, her professionalism, warm demeanor, and genuine willingness to help made our experience exceptional. She went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and efficient check-in process while also answering our questions with patience and kindness. Her attention to detail and personalized approach truly set the tone for our wonderful stay. Thank you for making us feel so welcome, Ms. Mary!! Until next time 😊

It was a wonderful experience, first when we looked from the road, we just stunned. It looked like a giant. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room service was awesome. Room size was good and clean. There was a minor issue of smell of sea. The access for roof top was restricted. Rest of the experience was great.

We have enjoyed our stay. All staff are helpful and accommodating. I find Ate Mary Jean so sweet in finding a room with sea view since it is our first time and even gave us a better room and longer time of stay for us to enjoy our stay to the fullest as a way also of compensating us since we waited a little. Housekeeping is also good. Food are appetizing. Overall, our stay was memorable and my mom enjoyed her birthday at Queen Elizabeth 2 Hotel today. ☺️

I recently visited Queen Elizabeth 2, and it’s a fantastic project that will surely become a prime floating Hotel and Restaurant and leisure destination for residents of Dubai.
The serene floating restaurant is perfect for relaxing, and the atmosphere is peaceful, making it an ideal spot and day trips. While the development is historical, the vision for the area is impressive, and I can't wait to see how it evolves. Definitely a place to keep an eye on for future getaways!
This Queen Elizabeth 2 has the best view in the Dubai, quiet cozy place to relax. Queen Elizabeth 2 Yacht is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a tranquil and enjoyable best experience.
