I had the best time in the QE2. I had the royal suite which really made me feel royal. I even had a walk in closet. Concerns were always resolved promptly. The staff was very friendly. For example Mohsin welcomed me after the check in and gave me a tour in my suite and an explanation for everything. He even prepared a plate with exclusive sweets for me which I enjoyed with a delicious coffee on one of my three balconies 🤭 What I particularly liked was the changing offerings at the buffet :) The hotel was also very clean. I also enjoyed the afternoon tea. The beautiful lady from Kenia who serves there made it even more special.

Staying at the Queen Elizabeth 2 Hotel (QE2) was a truly unique and memorable experience. It’s not every day you get to stay inside a floating hotel that was once a legendary ocean liner! The moment you step aboard, you can feel the sense of history and elegance that surrounds this iconic ship, now beautifully transformed into a luxury stay. The rooms were on the smaller side, which is expected on a ship, but they were immaculately clean, hygienic, and well-maintained. Everything was neatly arranged, and the design kept much of the original ship’s charm. It gave that cozy, vintage cruise feel while still offering modern comfort — definitely something different from your usual hotel experience on land. One of the best parts of the stay was the food. The hotel has multiple dining options, and we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of cuisines available. From Arabic and Indian dishes to continental and international favorites, there’s something for every palate. The quality of food was excellent, and the service staff were polite, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Walking around the decks after dinner was another highlight — the calm water views, the classic maritime details, and the quiet hum of the ship make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time to an era of grand voyages. Overall, the Queen Elizabeth 2 Hotel offers more than just accommodation; it’s an experience. Perfect for those who love history, ships, and a bit of nostalgia mixed with comfort. If you’re visiting Dubai and want to stay somewhere out of the ordinary, this is definitely worth trying at least once. Just be ready for smaller rooms — but big memories!

Staying aboard the legendary cruise liner Queen Elizabeth 2 was a truly unique experience for me! It's more than just a hotel — it's history, moored to the shore. The ship's atmosphere has been lovingly preserved: vintage style, a nautical spirit, and the feeling of being on a cruise. The room was cozy and clean, with a beautiful view of the harbor. I was particularly impressed by the interior details: antique photographs, navigational elements, and elegant finishings. The staff was very polite and helpful — always ready to help. Breakfasts were varied, offering both traditional and international dishes. For those who love unique hotels, this is the perfect place! It's wonderful to know you're staying in a true maritime legend with a rich history. The QE2 is more than just a place to stay, it's a true journey through time. I'll definitely be back and recommending it to my friends!

We had a really pleasant stay at QE2 hotel. The staff made all the difference. At reception, Putri was warm and welcoming, and she even gave us an upgrade which was such a nice surprise. She was genuinely friendly and made check-in feel easy. Over at the Lido restaurant, Mary stood out as well—she was incredibly helpful in explaining how we could get a discounted price, and her service felt thoughtful. The food there was good, and the cozy ambience made every meal enjoyable. What made the stay unforgettable though was exploring the ship itself. Since the QE2 is such a historic cruise liner, walking through it felt like traveling back in time. They’ve kept so much of the original facade and character intact, and discovering all those details was a highlight of our stay. Overall, I’d give it 4 out of 5. The staff and the history of the ship really stood out, though I think a few updates to the rooms and maybe more variety at breakfast would make the experience even better. Still, it’s a place we’ll definitely recommend and would love to visit again.

This is a difficult review to write as the QE2 is a very famous passenger liner (not a cruise ship) converted into a hotel, which means that it is nothing like a normal hotel and cannot be judged as one. By necessity it is moored in the docks area far from the city and there is almost nothing nearby. However that is rapidly changing and the whole area is undergoing massive regeneration. The new reception building is first class as are the staff. We were made most welcome and shown to our room (cabin) by a consierge, who explained the layout of the ship to us. The cabins have been very successfully converted into modern hotel rooms with many of the original ship fittings retained, providing a nostalgic touch. The dining facilities were excellent. A massive buffet breakfast to start and an excellent evening meal with our half board package. This a full three courses from the a la carte menu, a touch of class. The downside of the dining is that it is at the rear of the hotel and if you have a room at the front then it is a long walk. If you are expecting a modern conversion then you will be disappointed as the hotel has retained many of the ship's fixtures and fittings, which, although very high quality are now a bit dated. Each day there is a Heritage Tour of the hotel where the history of the ship is explained. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay and would highly recommend it It is an experience not to be missed, not a hotel stay.
