The reason I'm giving this hotel two stars instead of one is because the staff is very kind and attentive. HOWEVER, if you stay here, you will need to plan an extra 20-30 minutes every time you go anywhere to wait for the elevator. Also, be aware that there is NO PARKING. So if you're driving your vehicle into the city, you should find another hotel. And don't plan to shower here, unless you like your shower to be very cold. That is all.

I was worried about the elevators after reading reviews, but honestly it barely affected us. They got a little crowded and you had to wait a few minutes, but it was worth it for a nice, clean room in a great location near the subway. The rooms are great and quite large for NYC. The beds were super comfortable. I want to buy the pillows for my own house!

Please be aware of staying at this hotel! Our stay was not pleasant. The elevators are the absolute worst! We waited 20 minutes or longer to ride the elevators. On our last day of our trip, we had to bring our luggage down 12 floors due to the elevators not working properly. This was unacceptable, especially when carrying 4 large suitcases. The room was very small and barely had room to lay our luggage down in the room. If you are claustrophobic, this hotel is not for you. Definitely would not suggest anyone staying at this hotel!

Awful.
Got my laundry stolen! And no security cameras at the hotel.
Elevators are super bad during morning or evening. You can easily spend 15-20 minutes during the rush hours. Waiting or in the elevator.
Was here at the end of October.
It’s not 4-star hotel for sure. It’s 3-star average one. And a bunch of 3-star across the world are much better than this one.
Bathroom just as in a cheap hotel.
The bed is small.
And I got my laundry stolen. And they were just blaming me that I left it at the door’s handle and the stuff just probably threw this away as a trash.
Special laundry hotel branded bag with a filled paper treated as a trash? Don’t know.
Or someone just took it for themselves.
When I asked to check security cameras at the floor to see who took it and probably it’s possible to take it. They said that they don’t have cameras at the hotel for privacy reasons.
Manager were suggesting to give me points.
But would they cover $350 costs of belongings? Ofc no. Just may be will be able to get $20 discount.
And those points are never arrived to my account by the way.
It’s just a big joke but not the hotel with good service and safety.

Only 2 elevators for 44 floors… easily a 7-10 minute wait every time you need to get up or down. If you are here on holiday and don’t care about wasting your time, maybe you won’t mind it. If you’re a business traveler, beware.
Very thin walls and a lot of rooms have connecting doors to the adjacent room. You can hear a pen drop… I had the pleasure of listening to my neighbor call everyone he knows on speaker phone until midnight.
However, the staff was very nice and the rooms were clean. This hotel simply has some significant design problems.
