Just back from a 9 day trip bed and breakfast. Last year I was all inclusive.
This holiday I went down for breakfast last year did not .breakfast was very good with lots on offer I also noticed the general manager down getting breakfast some mornings.
Good sign 👌
This year I noticed some improvements that had been done over the year .
Nice to see money is getting reinvested.
Staff were all first class and all the same faces from last year good staff retention a good sign 👍.
I'm planning retuning next year probably bed and breakfast eating out is not cheap but it fresh and hot and there is good choice of restaurants.
If the hotel restaurant opened a bit later and if there was a microwave available I would go all inclusive last year I mainly eat from the bar lunch menu it's cooked to order.
Cala d'or is nice and peaceful place to go 😌

A lovely hotel catering for bed and breakfast, half board and all-inclusive
The staff were amazing ... on the ball non-stop and so friendly.
There was a very good selection of food at all times and it was very tasty.
The rooms are of a good size and the same for the balconies.
There is a gym, spa pool, outside jacuzzi, pool, and plenty of sunbeds (albeit a bit close together). There are luxury pool beds that can be hired, which are very comfortable. Pool towels supplied, too.
A few minutes walk, and you are on the beach... word of warning, it does get very busy!
The entertainment was music, and over the two weeks we were there, it was a different act each night.
The only real complaint I have is the availability of water!! You can get a glass of water in the restaurant or at the bar (when open) or from the gym but that is it, otherwise it is buy your own from any of the supermarkets close by.

A lovely hotel, in a fantastic location. Lovely food, superb service. Rooms are very clean and with a superb view over the pool (if you book that room). Pool facilities superb, great snack bar & drinks bar also. Would highly recommend for half board or B&B, as there are some superb restaurants in Cala D'or also (Fernandos especially). Adult only hotel, which is superb as its lovely & quiet in the mornings and evenings

A really disappointing experience. Location is good , rooms are ok , the hotel is a little dated but nice enough . Staff are friendly and helpful but then I’ve not known anywhere where they’re not . Food is dire though , the meat is all well over cooked, the so called English bacon I could use to replace the soles of my work boots, I honestly don’t understand how others have said that the food is good , it is NOT good .
We’re staying on the half board basis and you don’t get any drinks at all with your evening meal ( not even water ! ) I’ve never experienced that in any other hotel .
I like authentic churros and didn’t expect these at the hotel to be on a par with a traditional Spanish bar/restaurant but omg they are so bad ( more like cardboard ! ) I had to spit out the one and only mouthful.
The orange juice is more like a cheap orange squash .
The coffee from the machines in the restaurant is weak and more like an instant coffee in taste.
No smoking allowed on the balconies! Never seen that anywhere either.
The balcony’s offer zero privacy btw and they have no lighting so they’re useless in the evening as it’s pitch black.
We asked for an iron 🤣 we were given an iron along with an ironing board that’s about 2 feet long and made of metal mesh ( no foam ) and a bit of fabric around it !
The water in the pool is too cold to enjoy.
Rooms and hotel are clean .
Needless to say “ we won’t be coming back “ we have 8 days still to go 😩.
Very disappointing.
It’s now 3 days since I wrote the review, thought we’d try the breakfast once again.
Sadly the bacon was cold ( we arrived 3 minutes after they opened) in fact everything is cold .
The sliced bread has now been left out for over a week also the pastries are dried and shrivelled up.
Today we noticed a piggy bank with the word kitchen written on it ! Are they really expecting tips for the far below par food they’re leaving out for us .
