We’ve had a very good experience at this family friendly hotel. We’ve stayed for 2 weeks and everything was great. The staff is friendly and very well trained. Rooms are spacious and well maintained, they cleaned on daily basis (the room was spotless). Food it’s good and fresh with plenty of options to choose from. The entertainment team are amazing and keep everyone (especially the kids) happy. They do a lots of pool activities through the day for everyone to take part, plus the evening programs. Overall an enjoyable stay and we will come back.

Overall, a really lovely hotel. Staff were great, food was lovely and the rooms were amazing.
There are only a few things to be conscious of when booking, and these are just my opinions, so you can decide what you think! We went all inclusive, we were expecting the children (My younger siblings aged 12 and 8) to be able to grab an ice cream throughout the day if they wanted, the poolside bar only offered ice-cream that you had to pay for, which was a small dissapointment, but not the end of the world. The food and drinks were included on the all inclusive package. The other thing is location, it is a 20-30min drive to Estepona OR Marbella, there is nothing close to the hotel. There is a beach on the site, but its not the nicest.
In my opinion the hotel itself was lovely, its just a shame we had to pay 40-50€ a day to just get to somewhere with shops, bars and a nice beach. If you're only wanting to get away to relax by a pool, I would definitely recommend this hotel as its clean, airy and modern. If you're like us and like exploring, I'd try and get somewhere more central to a local town.

Very strange treatment by the managers. Not clear hotel rules and disinformation from workers caused that living near the hotel we sometimes spent time and money there, in their restaurants. As an educational (professional) center i even offered them cooperation. When i lost my phone in the area they (both managers) behaved themselves in front of me and my little son quite irrespectfully, i was informed that i can't be there (however other workers and restaurants said inverse and we never hided the fact that we are not from the hotel). My son asked me why those gentlemen are like that, and i thought that it was a very smart question. Even though i was "exceptionally" allowed to come to the area at the end, to do so i would have to make a phone call to the manager, i don't think i need any special treatment, respect and clear hotel rules are enough for us. How they allowed themselves talking to me was a strange observation, they (especially the local hotel manager giving me his phone number) did not forget to express a complete lack of respect. This is where you understand how much their nice treatment costs (equals to a hotel room) otherwise they won't consider you being worth it. It touched me because i work with families and also with tourists, i would not even think to treat anyone like that. I used to recommend the place because for a longer time my impression was good thanks to local workers. Well everyone makes mistakes.

Great place to stay. Loads of lovely clean rooms and friendly staff. It's pretty massive, but it wasn't full, so it felt like there was plenty of room. I can imagine it being a bit much when it's rammed full in high summer.
The food was pretty good, and the all-inclusive package seemed worth it to me, with a few trips out to nearby towns for a proper Spanish meal out.
The kids' club kept the kids happy and gave parents a chance to chill and top up the sunburn.
All in all, a great holiday

Good room and room service but no kettle and drink facilities, no bottle of water in room and hotel shop was closed and this was in the afternoon.
Great breakfast Poor buffet dinner the hot food was mostly cold no supervision of hot food area unless it was to replace empty containers. Jazz Barr closed as were shops. Entertainment was a joke, I wish I could get a job for doing so little. Reception was helpful. Location was zilch small pebble beach a 15 mins walk to a bus stop or nearest cafe very bad to walk there at night and back on a narrow road. A couple of the cafes by the main road were really excellent thank god for that. Booked this hotel based on it was part of the Melia Hotel group, what a disappointment to the Melia name.
Never going back to this one again.
