The location is great. My wife and I stayed here recently and we had a lot of issues with the staff. They made fun of my friend who is gay and when they thought I was as well, they called us names. The food was not great. The scrambled eggs sit in oil, food is bland, and if you don’t arrive between the times for breakfast or dinner, you can’t get food. Another person was late to breakfast because they were in the spa and they told her they couldn’t help her. We had a 9pm sitting and went to get food at 8:50 and they were already shutting down the food service. There are good staff, not all are like this, but for what we pay, we deserve more and better. I told the management what happened when we left, but I doubt it will change.

Stayed here the last week in October with my Daughter. Had an amazing time, fabulous location and wonderful welcoming staff. Comfortable bed and pillows. The food drink and entertainment fabulous . Breakfast was superb with fantastic cooks . Nakitas pancakes 🥞 the best totally delicious.

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday, had a lovely time, all staff are brilliant, and always look after you. We have been to this hotel many times and love it. However, it has changed over the years, but we will be back.

This place is a hidden gem. I hate naming only a few as everyone was wonderful, however Samantha & Tanesha we FABULOUS!! We never had to ask for a thing with these two, Samantha is like a family friend so very pleasant and easy to talk with. Tanisha has a smile so Big it covers the barbados island. This hotel is wonderful yes its a Lil older but the services is way beyond what you get elsewhere.

If you’re wanting to party, do not stay at this resort. Just take my advice. It’s more for the older crowd, who’s heading into retirement. I was there from 12/10-12/15 for my best friends birthday. Although Barbados was a dream, it was a nightmare in the resort. First night, my room was flooding due to the ac. I asked for my room to be switched or to have the water cleaned. The front desk asked me “can you get through the night with the flood?” I was shocked to even get a question like that. I was told the maintenance staff was not there, so I received towels to clean the floor, which where never changed. I also asked to have my room changed and they declined my request. This also caused me to sleep in my friends room for a night, which k had my own room & I booked for a stay of 5 days. Also the first night, I was in a suite. My screen doors to access the patio were not secure. I had a broken lock. Therefore I could not use the patio because I didn’t want to take the risk of having an open door. Maintenance came and fixed it. But the only resolution to keep it fixed was to not to go on the patio because the lock was completely broken. Second night, I had left my key in my hotel room. So I went to the front desk to see if I can get let in. There was no front desk staff available for about 1 hour and I was promised 24/7 front desk support. I was in the room and saw that I wasn’t given an iron to iron clothes. I called the front desk to get an iron because I was leaving about 1.5 hrs later for an excursion. I didn’t get an iron after calling the front desk. I just got the same excuse, someone is coming to give you an iron. But I wound up getting an iron, after I was gone for the day. Oh - one last thing, if you like to be given clean sheets, yeah this place isn’t for you. I was given sheets with stains. Sigh. For an all inclusive, Buffet was served 3 out of the 5 days I stood. Not a spectacular menu to choose from & limited options since I do have food allergies. Also, I was never refunded my security deposit for my stay of $350 which they are supposed to void when you’re checking out. I’m still waiting for my refund. If you’re coming to Barbados and you’re coming to party, this is not an option for you. There’s no beach, just an ocean front and there was no activities in the resort to do.
