Disappointing "Ultra All Inclusive" Experience at The Cove Rotana - Expectations Not Met We have just returned from a two-night weekend stay at The Cove Rotana, where we had booked two rooms with the "Ultra All Inclusive" package for a total of approximately USD 1300 per day for 3 adults and 2 children. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell significantly short of the expectations for a resort that presents itself as a five-star establishment. The location of the resort is undoubtedly picturesque, nestled in a beautiful area. However, the beach is significantly affected by the tides, with the sea receding a considerable distance during the day, making the umbrellas very far from the water's edge. Despite the high cost for the "Ultra All Inclusive" service, access to the dedicated lounge and specific beach area did not offer the quality one would expect from a hotel of this category. The towels appeared visibly worn and faded. The beach service was practically non-existent, with no easy way to contact staff other than raising your voice. The quality of the ice cream was comparable to that of a fast-food chain, and lunch offered a limited and mediocre quality menu. I would like to emphasize the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff, who were always courteous. However, this positive note does not compensate for the structural and qualitative shortcomings of the resort. Our room reflected the same general conditions of wear and tear. The double bed consisted of two queen beds pushed together, with dated sheets of a quality more reminiscent of basic worker accommodation. The "Ultra All Inclusive" service should theoretically guarantee priority in the use of buggies, necessary for getting around the resort due to its hilly layout. In practice, this priority was not respected, forcing us to wait in long queues, especially when the hotel was fully booked. The management of meals also presented a problem. The basic buffet dinner ends at 9:30 PM, a time that, considering the time needed to return from the beach at sunset (around 6:30 PM), wash and prepare the children, and the wait for the buggies (at least 20 minutes), left little time to enjoy the evening or have a relaxed dinner. The à la carte restaurant included in our package had several items unavailable on the menu, further limiting the choices and creating difficulties with the children. Ultimately, the limited selection of "high-quality" dishes included in the package, combined with the restrictive meal times and the music ending at 10:00 PM, makes this resort, in our opinion, not up to par with other five-star all-inclusive resorts in Ras Al Khaimah. For those coming from abroad, I understand that the experience may seem superior and five-star. However, for someone like me who lives in a five-star residence in Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, the difference in treatment and quality is dramatically evident and extremely disappointing for the price paid. I hope this review will be helpful to other travelers in their choice. I hope the management will consider my honest review to improve their service.

We chose this resort based on the 5 star rating and I must say that we made the right decision! The location of this resort is perfect for relaxation and there is a lot of greenery! Everything here looks very well maintained and clean, the staff always tries to keep everything tidy, they really try to do only the best for the guests. Despite the fact that there are a lot of people here right now, the staff has my great admiration, because despite the chaos they still smile and do only the best for us. If you choose all inclusive, you get all kinds of food, there is a truly incredible selection of food that I can't believe it! from desserts to all kinds of meat, a rich selection of vegetables and fruits, a constant supply of water and drinks and the food is constantly replenished. Once again, I want to say that the staff has my great admiration and I wish them to continue to do well and constantly move forward! You can find all kinds of activities here, you can go for a massage, to the hairdresser, get a facial, go to the gym, the staff is very friendly everywhere and they will be happy to help you with everything. Thank you for everything you do for us and we will definitely visit you again sometime!

We have been to other hotel resort here in RAK, but by far cove rotana is the best! We love the villa type apartments, it gives the vibe that your in another country. The beach is amazing. You can relax and enjoy the nature view. We love that you care and look after all the animals in the resort, specially the cats. Friendly and accommodating staffs. We will sure come back again! This resort is one of a kind. .

Everything was satisfying there - room, sea, food, magical infinity pool and of course service of each and every employee. Rooms and location are great with big clean rooms and balconies. The low rating relates to the offering on food especially the all inclusive offer which is not clear and very limited. It is not explained clearly what is offered specifically in terms of time and limited choice of snacks. You are offered for example fries only from 1-4 in the beach snack only! Even snacks are only few sandwiches that have also limited availability and drinks are limited. Management should be clear as with kids all inclusive is not worth it after experiencing it. Last point, juices on breakfast are not fresh squeezed juices which is expected in a 5 star hotel breakfast
